I love the proximity to campus (~3 stops away from the health sciences buildings) and that there’s a bus stop right out front! I also really like my apartment- there is ample space and light, and additions like the breakfast bar and newer kitchen make it a great place to live. Maintenance is insanely fast to fix anything, even though I haven’t had any big issues. The office staff is absolutely amazing, and part of the reason I chose to live here. Isvela was wonderful when I was touring virtually from another country, walking all around the property to show me the amenities and answering lots of questions over email and in person when I moved in. Ian also goes above and beyond- he even helped me with a maintenance issue on a weekend, which was way outside of his job description. The people here are just that kind. I haven’t had any bug issues, which I was a little worried about in Chapel Hill, and I love that Morgan Creek Trail runs right beside the property for walks/runs! There aren’t many places left in Chapel Hill with the combination of amenities and value that Kingswood has, and I recommend this community wholeheartedly.

Not sure what’s the issue with the pipes in this complex but one seems to burst every other month, causing a water shutoff of the whole property for hours if not the whole day. Extremely inconvenient because much of it is very short notice. It’s egregious how often this happens and doesn’t look like much is done to fix it. It’s basically the norm for the past year
