It was a splendid time
My brother and I lived at Blu on Farrington for over a year and we thoroughly enjoyed it! Maintenance was always super quick at fixing any issue. All of the appliances worked great. The apartment was clean, well maintained, and safe. Our neighbors were really nice. I also used the gym almost every day and loved it. I had a dog and the sidewalks around the apartment were great for walking him, in addition to the expansive dog park. Loved it here!
I lived here for four years and overall the apartments themselves are nice and held up well. The maintenance staff was very helpful and timely all the time! I had a few issues with my bathtub cracking and they were determined to get it fixed correctly. There were multiple attempts by a third party they hired. Ultimately, I believe they should have just replaced the tub but I’m sure there’s a lot more that goes into it.
Overall I found the management staff very unprofessional and lacked consistent and clear communication about a variety of issues occurring. There were multiple break-ins, one person was robbed at gun point (I think it was targeted bc he was apparently a drug dealer and eventually was evicted), and bullets into car overnight that were never communicated to the community. I’m sure active police investigations play a role in this, however, there was no reassurance that they were aware or working on making it a safer environment.
There was supposed to be a courtesy officer on duty at the complex but there were multiple long periods of time where there was not one available.
Lastly, after living there for four years my rent increased every single year by at least $100/month. I find it frustrating they don’t offer any retention incentives to their loyal tenants. There were many times when larger apartments were advertised at lower rates than what I was paying for my unit as well. Ultimately, I left the complex because I was able to find a 3B/2b, one car garage townhouse for the same price they were asking for rent in the 2b/2b unit.
Overall, it was a decent experience with the typical apartment living issues aside from what I listed above. If you’re looking for a place to live for a year or two, i think it could be good. The location is very ideal. But the management is lacking and I think it’s overpriced for what they offer.

The apartments themselves are pretty nice and the amenities are great but if you need anything from the office staff, good luck. The management here is poor and they are not eager to help. Most of the staff seem pretty miserable most of the time and I always felt like a bother anytime I went in and asked questions or asked for help with something (most of which were very standard, reasonable things that most tenants need at some point).
I lived here for 3 years, and I had multiple issues. In one case, I transferred apartments (because one of their buildings has a major frog infestation problem) and they entered my old apartment prior to my notice to vacate date without permission (they even called a week or so before this and asked if I was out yet and I told them I was still in the process of moving and that they could not enter my apartment yet). They also tried to charge me for a cleaning fee after I moved out of my apartment despite it being cleaned from top to bottom per the standard guidance they provide for move out. I was able to get a refund (they admitted this was a mistake after I pointed it out and sent numerous screenshots) but only after inquiring multiple times (two emails and a phone call + multiple follow up emails due to very delayed responses).
There are car break ins in the parking lot on a regular basis (smashed windows, stolen valuables), and there was even a police investigation in my building's parking lot because bullets were fired in the parking lot overnight. The only one of these instances that was communicated to residents was the first round of break ins I was present for and that was only after numerous residents had reached out to the office about it. None of the other safety issues were ever acknowledged by management or communicated to residents.
The one really positive experience at this complex is the maintenance crew. They are incredibly kind, helpful and efficient and I really appreciated that!
Overall, the apartments themselves are nice and maintenance is great but that's about it.

Resubmitting my review: Please try to avoid this place, at the beginning they may treat you nice; however pay attention in to your money, they will try to overcharge you (thausands) at the end, they are very dismissive and disrespectful. As soon as you sign the contract their acritude change completely; all that smile and courtesy goes away once you sign. They can manufacture lies just to get into your pockets. I read a review about this before, and wen I saw they did the same to me I then new they can be very dishonest.
Claims such as repairs and Billings that you have never had will show up when you finalize the contract. The apartments look nice and clean but is very noisy. You can hear your neighbors in a regular basis. The management team is terrible.
