I wanted to take a moment to recognize Lisa at Town Station Apartments in Cary, NC, because she truly deserves every bit of appreciation. From my experience, Lisa consistently goes above and beyond in ways that make a lasting impression.
One of the first things I noticed about Lisa is her incredible patience. No matter the situation or how many questions come her way, she handles everything with calmness and understanding. She takes the time to explain things thoroughly and makes sure you never feel rushed or overlooked. That level of attentiveness is rare and speaks volumes about her dedication.
Her professionalism is outstanding. Lisa is extremely knowledgeable about her role, the leasing process, and the community itself. She provides clear, detailed information and always makes sure you are aware of all available options, allowing you to make the best decision for your needs. She doesn’t just give answers—she makes sure you fully understand them, which builds a strong sense of trust.
Lisa is also incredibly detail-oriented. Every step of the process is handled with care and precision, and she follows through on everything she says. You can truly rely on her to get things done efficiently and correctly the first time. She is organized, proactive, and always one step ahead, which makes the entire experience smooth and stress-free.
What really stands out most is how caring and passionate Lisa is about her job. She genuinely looks out for residents and treats everyone with kindness and respect. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and wants to create the best possible experience for everyone she works with. She’s approachable, easy to talk to, and always willing to help—whether it’s in person or over the phone. Just like with the best professionals, you wouldn’t be able to tell which she excels at more because she’s equally exceptional at both.
I have never felt uncomfortable during any interaction with Lisa. She creates a welcoming and positive environment that makes you feel valued and heard. Any concerns or requests I’ve had have been handled quickly and efficiently, and she always follows up to make sure everything is taken care of.
If you’re considering Town Station Apartments, I highly recommend working with Lisa. She is a true professional who genuinely cares, and she makes the entire experience seamless and enjoyable. She is without a doubt a huge asset to the community!

We had a wonderful experience living at Town Station apartments. The location is great. The facilities like lounge, fitness center, pool, kids play area, retail shops in the complex are outstanding. A very kid and pet friendly community. Susan was amazing at every step of our stay. We had the best communication helping us decide the best time and apartment for our move from out of state. The office staff are always so friendly and make sure everyone is happy. Big shoutout to Susan, Tracy and Lisa for their kindness. Thanks to the wonderful maintainance team everything is always running smoothly. Thanks to the office team for making community events so much fun. The resident community is so helpful and kind as well. Once you’ve lived here you’ll always be part of the apartment community. If you are looking for the best stay in an apartment complex, look no further.
Lived Here 5 Years – Looks Great Outside, But There Are Serious Underlying Issues
I lived in a three-bedroom, third-floor unit at Townstation Apartments from 2019 to 2025. I moved out this year for a job opportunity overseas. While the staff on-site was consistently great, the overall experience declined year after year due to corporate neglect, rising rent, and unresolved maintenance issues.
✅ What Was Good:
The on-site staff truly did their best.
Susan at the front desk was always kind and professional. Tracy, the property manager during my last few years, brought in a fast and reliable maintenance team and was always responsive and compassionate. Unfortunately, corporate policies constantly got in the way of real progress.
❌ Why I Wouldn’t Recommend It:
• Rent increased every single year. “Early bird specials” were just soft landings for guaranteed hikes — I never saw prices go down once.
• The “smart apartment” package included only a Nest thermostat, a smart lock, and LED bulbs. No smart lighting, no added functionality.
• The forced fiber internet upgrade (Spectrum only) took over a month. We had to clear out balcony storage during peak pollen season — and most residents didn’t even want the change.
• Only one ceiling fan/light, in the master bedroom. I had to install lighting and fans in the other two bedrooms and the living room.
• Valet trash was mandatory, not optional. No pickup on Fridays, Saturdays, or even Halloween. They also eliminated recycling service entirely.
• Noise insulation was poor. I lived on the top floor and could still hear my downstairs neighbors daily.
• The train behind the property ran every single day, often at night — including as late as 3:00 AM. It was loud enough to wake us up frequently.
• Despite living there for five years with no pets, my carpet was never replaced, not even restretched.
• My laminate flooring had separation issues from a known defect, reported years ago. The only fix offered? Pay to transfer to a different unit.
⚠️ Health & Maintenance Concerns – Discovered Too Late:
My young son regularly had coughing fits while we lived there. We didn’t know what was causing them — but they stopped completely after we moved out. That made us take a closer look, and we found:
• 📸 An HVAC system full of grime, rust, and what appeared to be mold
• 📸 Mildew and moisture damage around the sliding door and bathroom caulk
• 📸 Poorly maintained common areas with water stains and decay
I’m not making medical claims — just sharing our lived experience. The timing was too clear to ignore. The air quality was very likely a factor.
💰 Corporate Policy Red Flags:
• Rent is late on the 6th, with fees applied instantly
• ACH payments not accepted on the 4th, even though that’s still within grace
• No partial payments allowed if you run behind they only accept in full payment, PERIOD.
• If renters insurance auto-renews but isn’t immediately reflected in their system, they send a 48-hour warning or charge you
💡 What You Should Know:
Townstation puts effort into looking good — but that’s where the care stops.
Landscaping was constant. We heard leaf blowers almost daily. Meanwhile, the inside of our unit — where we actually lived — was ignored for years.
Bottom line: Townstation is all about curb appeal and rent increases. If you’re just touring the model unit, it might look nice — but speak to long-term residents before signing anything. The staff does their best, but they can’t fix a system designed to extract maximum value while giving minimal return.
