Came and helped with a community Wine and Paint night, with Mary and Julian with Apartment Life. Great people here at The Aster! And I only met a fraction of them! Highly recommended community in which to make your home!

I have been living at the Aster for about three years now and Jay has always been a great help. He made sure I had a smooth transition with transferring apartments. If you plan on leasing from the Aster, please ask for Jay!

To start, the location is nice and I enjoy walking around the area. However, communication and timely maintenance were two of our top priorities when moving, and both have been extremely disappointing. Maintenance concerns: * It took nearly 3 weeks to receive a trash can, even after multiple follow-ups. * Rekeying the storage door also took about 3 weeks, delaying our ability to fully move in since we couldn’t safely store our belongings. * We still do not have a key for the porch door, nor has it been rekeyed. * One of the bedroom light in my kids room has been out for about a month. Making it difficult to get him ready in the morning and night. Despite several calls and maintenance requests, the issue remains unresolved. Someone was finally scheduled around the third week after constant follow ups, but even after granting permission to enter during working hours, they failed to enter while we were working. * At move-in, there were already unresolved issues, including a laundry door that does not close properly, a dented door, and visible wall damage. Communication issues: * The direct line to the front office is unreliable. The number provided in emails frequently says “not in service” or results in a dial tone. Overall, while the location is a positive, the ongoing lack of communication and delayed maintenance has made our experience frustrating and inconvenient. Although I understand it’s a big community it has been a lot of ongoing issues. 3/6/26 I got a voicemail that someone was going to come and they never came. Keep in mind they had permission to enter my house since I placed the work order 3/7/26 I got a call asking if they could come in. I told the person from the office that they could like I previously been stating. While on the phone call maintenance was in the background stating that they did not have an extra key to my apartment which is concerning for security reasons. I told them I do not get off of work till after the office is closed and my partner was working late so I would not be able to give them a copy of the key until the next day. 3/8/26 My partner left the key with the front office and they finally came to fix the issue.

Overall a great place to live. I just finished a 15 mth lease here. Top notch amenities, great pools, one being a salt water pool. Think the main one should be heated for more year round use to truly be special, but still good. Guest always commented how much of like a resort it was. Great location, with easy access to 55 and 540. Only 15 min to Apex, 23 min to downtown Raleigh, and 20 min to outer Durham. So good central location. No commotions, and felt safe. Apartment was nice, I had a top floor, one bedroom, in the 5 story building, 10ft ceilings are a really nice touch. Love the hallway extra storage room that comes included, and I opted for the detached garage which are very large and usable. Kitchen and standard appliances are very nice. Only a few, but annoying weak points. Continued issues with security locks in club house outer doors and inner doors. Issues with UPS/Amazon box area, causes challenges to find packages a lot of the time. Early on, had theft issues going on in seperate box room, but that has now been fixed. Had my A/C go out last summer, and it took 10 days to get fixed and got up to over 90 degrees in my apartment. Unacceptable time frame, had to sleep elsewhere for several nights, or sleep next to a big fan I had to help. Then had heater go out, and that took about a week to fix, but luckily temps were mild at the time. Had dishwasher go out, and new one put in, which wasn't much better. Lower cover piece falls off on both of them. Actually cleaning was hit and miss, with many times the dishwasher pod pocket not opening and not being used because of it leaving dishes dirty or soap scum on them. And that was both the old and the new one. Washer and dryer were great and in good location to isolate them away for the noise. Apartment is very well insulated. Amazingly so. Barely heard anything outside, even when a plane was flying overhead. Impressive. Great staff, big shout out to Yvonne, a senior leading agent there, and the rest of the team who were very helpful with any issues.

I was contacted by this location by one of the event coordinators. His name is Julian. He was interested in hosting a fitness themed event. In speaking with him we settled on the idea of a fitness challenge. Julian and Mary who is the other event coordinator, were absolute professionals and was a pleasure to work with. As it pertains to the event it was an absolute success. We embraced the grind of bodyweight exercise this evening. Out of respect to the privacy of the participants, I won't mention their names. But... I salute each and everyone of them. They took on the fitness challenge this evening.
