The Aster property is a wonderful property, perfect location in Cary to many things around town. The office staff and maintenance team is wonderful! Highly recommended, Jay, Gina and Susana are the very first and friendly faces you’ll see in the office. I have lived at the aster for many years and have enjoyed it a lot. I’ve met long lifetime friends and have created wonderful memories. The amenities like the pool and gym are some of the best in the area. Very clean and very comfortable! The Gym is newly renovated and has excellent equipment and lighting for selfies and sweats! Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun and friendly community to live in.

12/30/25 So as of today, management still has yet to respond to my emails. I sent another today asking what my rent amount total is since the system is down, and I'm once again being ignored - so I instead had to call. I will be escalating this today. I'm done being treated poorly by a management company who has no problem taking my money, and also neglects their tenants. 12/16/25 Response to Management: The statement that these concerns have been “reviewed and addressed” is inaccurate and unsupported by documented action. Referencing “appropriate channels” does not replace accountability or resolution. I maintain written documentation showing these issues remain unresolved, as well as the lack of response to my emails about these concerns. ____________ 12/13/25 I have been a resident since the end of May 2025, and during this time I have experienced repeated failures by management to address legitimate concerns: REPEATED NOISE DISRUPTIONS: I have made multiple complaints regarding excessive nighttime noise from my upstairs neighbor. These disturbances have repeatedly disrupted my sleep, including an incident at 3:30 this morning that lasted over an hour. Management has stated they have been “reaching out” to the neighbor (prior to ignorning my emails), but no meaningful resolution or enforcement has occurred. I've instead had to tolerate it while trying to find a resolution of my own. UNAUTHORIZED PHOTOGRAPHY: An entry was presented as an “inspection,” but no inspection took place. Instead, an employee entered with a phone camera prepared to photograph my apartment and belongings. I was present and stopped this from occurring. This violated my right to privacy and my trust in management’s handling of unit access. I have cameras in my place that got footage of it. Kettler may own the property, but you don't own MY property and you crossed a line here. MAINTENANCE DELAYS: Maintenance requests have taken up to 18 days simply to be acknowledged. While my requests were not emergencies, nearly three weeks without response is unreasonable. IGNORING RESIDENTS EMAILS: Both onsite management and Kettler Property Management corporate have ignored my emails and concerns for nearly two months. During this time, I received printed notices regarding unit access rather than responses to my written complaints. Communication appears to be one-sided. VALET TRASH SERVICE Residents are required to pay a monthly valet trash fee, yet trash has frequently been left in hallways for days at a time. Written notice addressing this issue was only provided after repeated requests over several months - I received this notice on Dec. 4, 2025 These apartments are marketed as a luxury community, yet the management experience does not reflect that standard. Despite paying rent on time, my documented concerns have gone unresolved, communication has been minimal, and accountability has been lacking. While the units themselves are visually appealing, the ongoing issues and lack of responsiveness make living here more stressful than it is worth. I have absolutely had it living here and will be exploring alternative accommodation options in the near future as a result of ongoing unresolved issues. I am not interested in receiving a generic response to this review requesting that I “reach out to discuss,” as multiple documented attempts to communicate via email have already gone unanswered. Any response should be made in writing via email and directly address the specific issues raised. UPDATE 12/13/25: I just received this letter announcing a change in ownership and affirming Kettler Management’s commitment to professionalism. However, this does not address my repeated emails over the past two months regarding unresolved issues including unauthorized photography, noise disturbances, and maintenance delays. While words promise accountability, my documented concerns remain ignored.

12/22 - I moved here on 12/7 and it just hasnt been a good experience for me. Today I learned that a package of mine delivered on 12/18 has seemingly disappeared and I was told that I need to contact the sender and report it missing/stolen. As Ive stated in my previous review, the package room/hallway is a complete disaster and something needs to be done about it. Until I leave, ill have my items delivered elsewhere for pickup. 12/17/25 - Dear Management Team, I actually have yet to hear from the PM here, but I wanted to share my message with the broader team. Overall, this community has the potential to be a wonderful place to live. However, it’s important that resident concerns whether minor or major are not overlooked. One pressing issue is the package room. At present, it feels unfair, concerning, and often overwhelming to retrieve packages due to the lack of organization. Packages are frequently scattered throughout the small space, making the process stressful and inefficient. The current room is simply too small to accommodate the volume of deliveries for a complex of this size. As a result, I am actively exploring alternative delivery options because retrieving packages here has become too difficult. I strongly urge management to consider revamping the package room. One possible solution could be adding a second package room, perhaps repurposing the yoga studio space. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Addressing this issue would greatly improve the resident experience and reinforce the sense of care within the community. **UPDATE - On day 2 maintenance showed up and by day 3 my dishwasher was replaced, so that resolved that issue. The two maintenance men were wonderful however, very courteous and offered apologies for the delay in addressing my concerns so I will give credit where credit is due! Still have not heard from nor met the PM. Emailed my leasing consultant requesting at the very least, her name and contact email info, never received a reply. Im going with 3 stars for now because my issue thus far is with the unit not the entire complex. On move in day I was very disappointed to get there and see that minor repairs promised to be resolved prior to my move in date, were still unresolved after reassurance upon reassurance that they would be. However, my greater concern is that this could be the calalyst for my entire tenancy and moving is not only stressful but can be very costly. Based on this experience and some of the reviews, Id say maybe management needs to care just a little bit more. Seems like a decent property with decent ammenities but if the tenants maintenance needs arent being met in a timely manner, what does it matter. My fingers remain crossed that this is not reflective of what my tenancy will be like because its quite costly to live here. Pictures are from move in day. Day 2 of me being in the unit and still no word on these minor repairs, spoke with asst prop mgr again today, same feedback, no call back no action. Visited the leasing office again today and was just very upset to hear from staff that theyve been having issues with maintenance since June, under staffed and hard to find maintenance staff. Im only sharing all of this on day 2 of my residency because I honestly wish someone had shared this with me prior to me taking occupancy as maintenance is a very vital part of any tenancy. Last thing to note, after multiple visits to the leasing office and many requests to resolve the issue, I still have yet to lay eyes on the property manager, she has not been available according to her staff. Also not a good look. If they are unable to meet this minor request, Im just not sure how things will turn out when a major issue comes up.
