  I’ve been living at the retreat at the park for about over a year now and I’ve got to say, it’s been a great experience. The front office is kind and respectful and Karen has always been very considerate of the residents here. With that being said, I know that the company has just been recently purchased by another so we will see what happens in the future but so far so good. The best thing about this place would be the maintenance. The maintenance workers are some of the best that I’ve ever worked with in an apartment complex. They always get things done and do it correctly. Some other perks about living here are the quiet environment, safe residents, and good location near Elon University, shops, restaurants, etc.

  Just want to thank retreat at the park management for having such a great maintenance team we had a few issues this week Chris was able to take care of them in a timely manner and also a friendly manner. I could add more but we have been here going on 8 years that in itself tells you a lot

  I strongly advise against living at this apartment complex, as the cost does not reflect the quality or safety provided. Package theft is a recurring issue, and management has stated they lack the manpower to review security footage. I was also informed that the cameras in the mailroom are primarily for “tenant comfort,” which offers little actual security. Additionally, I experienced ongoing air conditioning problems for nearly two years. While the issue was temporarily resolved when I prepared to move out, the repair failed again within four months, leaving the problem unresolved. Leaving us stuck in yet again another contract. Despite marketing that suggests this is an affordable, family friendly community, the reality is very different. The photos and reviews are misleading. Gunshots can be heard frequently at night, and I personally witnessed an altercation behind my vehicle that escalated into a shooting. Overall, management has shown little concern for resident safety or well being. Based on my experience, this property is not worth the price.
