  Unfortunately one of the worst places that my husband and I have lived in. If you consider the Haymaker we recommend renting on the upper floor as the walls are super thin and you can hear your neighbor tiptoe. This a problem in the whole building as we’ve talked to neighbors who have the same problem. It was so bad that our upstairs neighbor was walking and the glasses in our cabinets were shaking. They did end up moving us to another unit which was appreciated but that problem and others persisted. There is never any parking at night and you’ll have to park blocks down the street. They hired towing which is nice but the amount of parking just makes 0 sense for how many people live in building. Lastly, our deciding factor to move to the apartment ended up being the biggest disappointment. The dog park. It’s absolutely disgusting as much as I hate to say it. Almost feels like a minefield walking through that thing with all the poop. A lot of the times poops bags will be stacked from the ground (outside of trash since it’s so full) all the way to the top. So many other small issues that we ran into such as trash chutes being locked at times and trash just piling up outside and constant smell of smoke in common areas such as elevators despite it being a smoke free building. It’s unfortunate but we would not recommend the Haymaker to anyone. The only semi positive thing I can say is that the girls at the front and maintenance will try to work with you but it seems like the problems are far beyond anything they can fix. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

  Cons: We had a package stolen from here in the lobby when we moved out. Parking is a disaster not enough spots for all the units and limited street parking, real problem when there is snow. They’ll raise the rent, it wasn’t smooth signing leases. The vents are really dirty and blow dust all over house like we’ve never seen before. People park in handicap spots that aren’t handicapped. People’s dogs poop and pee inside and all around entryways of building. Pros, the gym is nice. Great views on the higher floors. Maintenance is helpful. The units are new and there is AC. Property has better insulation so can’t hear neighbors as much as other places. Location is central and semi-walkable.

  Mazzy has been incredible through the whole process of finding my first apartment. She is very warm and welcoming, always happy to help me. Josie is also very warm, kind, and instantly made me feel at ease. I was looking at the few different apartments but ultimately chose the Haymaker because these two women are INCREDIBLE and having great property management is so important to me.

  The move in processes was quick and timely. The staff is very accommodating and on top of any questions you may have. We had a small leak from our ac unit and Kevin was amazing with getting the problem solved! So far it has been a relaxing time living at haymaker. It’s also very clean in the public areas and smells amazing all the time!!
