  I would not recommend living here, especially if you’re a first-time renter. During my time at this complex, I dealt with an extremely hostile neighbor who would bang on my walls, yell profanity at me, and confront me over normal apartment noise. I reported the situation, but it was never properly resolved, which made living there very stressful. Financially, I had several issues. My first month’s sewer bill was $150, which seemed unusually high. I contacted the office about it and never received any follow-up or explanation. The toilets were set up in a way that caused them to constantly run, which likely contributed to the high water/sewer bill. When I moved out, I was charged an $85 cleaning fee despite doing a thorough clean and completing a walk-through. The charges felt unfair especially after spending over 10,000$ to live here for 6 months. Maintenance was also a major problem. My dishwasher was broken for two months and even after repairs, it never functioned properly. As a first-time renter, no one went over my lease agreement with me prior to signing. There was no walkthrough of expectations, fees, or policies, which made the experience even more frustrating when issues came up. I would not recommend this complex to someone renting for the first time. Overall, this place is overpriced for what you get. Between unresolved neighbor issues, poor communication, maintenance problems, and questionable charges, it simply wasn’t worth the money.

  We waited patiently for a 3 bedroom to become available after Hurricane Ida. The staff was very understanding and did everything they could to help us transition from La to Ms. The apartment is up to date and maintenance is quick when needed. We are very pleased with Highpointe and all it has to offer!

  The outdoor living facilities are awesome and a really cool place to chill after work and watch sports or just relax after a long day. The office staff is very professional and always there to assist me with anything I may need help with. I also really appreciate how the grounds and pools are always kept nice and clean. I have lived in a few other complexes across the southern US, this one is by far my favorite! The office ladies are pretty as well:)
