The City View Apartments in North Kansas City have a Great Staff . I asked the receptionist for information about an apartment for my daughter and within 30 seconds I was speaking with the manager. They were all very professional and courteous. Highly recommend this company .

I would not recommend living here based on my experience. After moving out, management is attempting to charge me for “damage” to the carpet that is simply normal wear and tear. The carpet was not new when I moved in and was already matted in areas. There were no stains or damage, just typical matting from everyday use, yet they are still trying to bill me for it. While living there, I also dealt with serious maintenance issues that took far too long to resolve. There was a major water leak pouring from the ceiling in my garage, a leak by the screen door that was never properly sealed, and at one point water was coming up through the bathroom and hallway floorboards while also leaking down from the hallway and closet ceilings. This led to mold developing in the unit, and the floorboards became warped from the water damage. It took over a month, three different plumbers, and multiple maintenance visits to finally fix the problem. I was eventually told the issue was caused by an AC unit above my apartment that had been installed incorrectly, with the drain pipe leaking all over the floor. On top of that, the trash compactor area was constantly overflowing, leaving trash piled up around it. The hot tub never worked the entire two years I lived there, despite it being advertised as an amenity. During the summer, the pool was often green and repeatedly closed for cleaning, making it difficult for residents to actually use it. Despite these ongoing issues, rent increased every year with no noticeable improvements to the property or amenities. Living with water coming through the floors and ceilings for that long was extremely frustrating and concerning. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience tenants deal with in situations like this, they are now trying to charge me for normal wear to carpet that was already in used condition when I moved in. I would strongly suggest documenting everything if you choose to live here.

Nolan Living makes people homeless. I’ve lived here for three years. Don’t believe the fake five star reviews written by their own employees. They advertise amenities that legitimately don’t exist. When pressed on the fact that they false advertise, they said “With respect to amenities, availability and access may vary and are not guaranteed as part of the lease.” Meaning they can advertise whatever they want and don’t have to deliver on their end of the rental agreement. The pool is frequently too green to swim in. The hot tub has genuinely had caution tape wrapped around it for years. They increased the rent 20% after providing no improvements or justification for the increase ($1650 to $1932 overnight + a new landscaping fee.) We’ve had roach infestations that they call “water bugs” and do nothing about. My neighbors have had their units flooded and management took days to even address it. The dumpster is overflowing constantly, piled up next to the broken washing machine that was here before they even took over the property. Please don’t give these people your money. The conditions will only continue to deteriorate and get exponentially more expensive for the families who live here.
