The place is a joke and they need to evict everyone you hear the neighbors above you all the time and they can’t drive at all and how many buildings do you possibly need to rent out

We were here for 4.5 years and we put up with a lot and would have stayed for years more because I am very sick. They are aware that I am not well, but they have chosen to not renew our lease, no reason given, essentially rendering a young boy and his sick mother homeless in the dead of Winter one month after I have a surgery. There is mold, especially in the laundry room where they have vented the dryers into an interior wall versus outside. There are holes in the wall for the air to escape and when the ceiling came down, you could see stalactites of lint all over the inside of the wall and large patches of mold. Neighbors allow their dogs to defecate everywhere. We once went 7 months without AC because they refused to fix it. They kept telling us it wasn’t hot enough. It was 90 in my apartment. They gave us a portable AC that had to be put in a sliding patio door since we have no window. A 300 sq ft apartment went up $300 in rent across 4 leases. And it would have increased again this time. I had to call the fire department once to get us out of the door to apartment because their doorknob was broken and they refused to help us multiple times. They lied to us. They told us the renewal paperwork was coming, that was a lie. The property manager avoids speaking to you unless you are persistent and then she is mean. They don’t care if you have cancer and I saw them tack an eviction notice on a disabled, half blind senior citizen’s door who has lived here for probably a decade or more. It looks nice on the surface but it is like most other apartments on this corner. I didn’t see any roaches and I had an okay view of the fireworks at Westport from my balcony. They have destroyed our lives right now. They had a contractor rip an entire wall out to replace the patio door and they broke my TV. They wouldn’t replace it. Ice used to form on the inside of my apartment during the coldest parts of winter all around the front door frame and baseboards. There’s a leak from the furnace they refuse to acknowledge exists but you can clearly see the water damage. When two cabinet doors fell off the hinges, the maintenance guy said it was because I leaned on them. That was not the reason. In the kitchen, the reason was the dishwasher opens directly into the cabinet doors, very poor layout. The dishwasher has therefore never been screwed into the counter and falls over if you’re not careful. We didn’t have a working garbage disposal for awhile and it was leaking water. I kept putting in work tickets and they kept telling me it was fine, I was just a sloppy sink user. Then Brett came and realized it wasn’t installed properly. There’s a revolving door of office staff. They cannot seem to keep anyone for very long. My car was struck twice in the parking lot. There are no cameras. Someone urinated in the back seat one night when I left my window down. One neighbor had their car stolen, another neighbor had a motorcycle stolen. People smoke even though it’s not allowed. You will smell all of your neighbors’ cooking. And you will hear people playing pickleball at midnight. Once they were playing all the way to 5am. The bathrooms in the clubhouse are locked when the office closes. If you say anything, they tell you the amenities are not part of your lease.

I was nervous as a first-time renter, but Alene made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and prepared every step of the way. Even when we ran into a few technical issues, she and the leasing office were so understanding and reassuring, and they resolved everything quickly.

Communication and organization is eh, maintenance is great (depending on who you get) but all together my experience living here has been nice. Any issues I have with anything communication or maintenance wise it gets fixed promptly. I was planning on moving into the city, but couldn’t risk having bad management. Definitely a good choice
