  They will hire subcontractors without proper vetting then when the contractors screw up they say they didnt hire them. We apparently did even though we had no contact prior to them showing up at our property to do the dirt work, block skirting and grading. Yes I left the review 3 years later because I am tired of the run around after every 4-5months reaching out to yall and the contractor to try and correct the issues. We trusted you all and were screwed over by yall. Im leaving the review so others know to not use the "contractors" you hire and not to trust you. Both subcontractors are no longer working with clayton homes due to so many issues and customer complaints.

  Recently bought a home from Clayton Homes. We are still in the process of having all of the finishing touches finished. But... wow. This has been such an easy, mostly stress free, experience. And I do believe that the salesperson makes a huge difference. Blake has gone above and beyond of reaching out to us and keeping us informed of what is going on. He is always willing to answer a phone call or text with an answer to all of my silly questions. I could not recommend Clayton Homes or Blake enough.

  We have been in our home that we purchased from Clayton homes Joplin for 3 weeks now and we have absolutely loved it! Your salesperson 1000% makes or breaks the experience and Blake made our experience a breeze. He was kind, knowledgeable, honest, and kept us updated throughout the entire process!

  My husband and I lost our home and all our belongings to a house fire this past spring. We were referred to Clayton Homes by a friend who had recently purchased one and was highly satisfied with his. We contacted Blake, who walked us through every detail, helping us find the exact home we wanted. In a few months we had a lovely home and are now all settled in. Blake made everything so much easier and listened to every concern and question we had. Everyone that worked on getting our home moved in and situated was so professional. They all took time to explain what they were doing and were extremely friendly and great to work with. A special shout out goes to the talented crew that actually placed our home on our lot to the great guys that put the finishing touchs on our foundation. Thanks so much to everyone and in the future we will highly recommend Clayton Homes to anyone in need of a home.
