Mila is a beautiful property. I love the massive courtyard, grill area and pool. They also have a fully equipped gym with workout machines in addition to the basics. The location is premium right off Manchester in Ellisville. The staff were very knowledgeable and answered all my questions promptly. Unfortunately the commute was just a little too far from my office.

moved in my unit in september. first of all, tour guide kenny told me pool is open during year-round and it is heated - turns out it is not open year-round. that is red flag #1. red flag #2 came when they kenny and the lady begged for 5 star review before I even moved in. that's why this place has so many 5 stars, they aren't even people that live here. its like their bosses pay them for artificial reviews. their fees are insane $75 automatic charge for their internet they call it the "technology fee" and it disconnects and is very consistent all the time, it is also slow. you dont have the option to opt out or get other internet. I was paying $35 for 1gig speeds at&t fiber at my old place and it was amazing. I work from home and it makes life horrible for me when I keep disconnecting from my meetings and calls. also, don't forget the insane fee to park here. I'm telling you, so many fees I've listed and I probably forgot a few. the place is nice it is a new build but you can tell where the builders cheaped out.. I will be leaving at the end of my lease due to these issues and additional costs on top of rent. rent is already breaking the bank, this place is very expensive before fees and additional bills. id rather take my own trash out than pay $25 or whatever they charge to take it for you. just feels silly.

Mila is a beautiful place to live in the heart of Ellisville. The individuals that work there are accommodating, kind and thoughtful. The manager is constantly working so hard to make sure her residents are happy and accommodated.

Big thanks to Kenny at Mila. He made the whole move easy with straight answers and quick paperwork, and he actually followed up when he said he would. I am settled in and it already feels like home. If you are touring Mila, ask for Kenny.

EDIT 11/20: I do not use the name that's on my ID for my Google account for safety purposes incase someone at your corporate office wants to hurt me for my honest review. Went on a tour here and while I don't expect everything to be perfect, you have certain expectations when they have $1900 1 bedrooms listed. Door jambs painted over (???), no door stops in units so it's easy to put a hole in the wall, and Amana appliances. You can't charge that much, let alone call yourself luxury apartments if you cheaped out on appliances. Sarah the front desk manager/tour guide has such a demeaning, rude, and "I'm better than you" energy and attitude towards people and tries to make it seem like its the norm to be paying outrageous fees on top of your *already way too high* rent. This is not Beverly Hills. Depending on the day, Kenny, other manager, will either be nice to you or have the same type of "better than you" attitude. I don't know how I'd feel having them be my point of contact for issues with my unit. All-in-all, even though they were built lazily - these units are nice, but they are FAR overpriced. The gym is also super tiny; being a newly built complex I'd expect much more. Nearby luxury apartments cost much less and give you far more. 2B Residential Management has to be price gouging and trying to rip people off with these prices, this is unreal.
