My rent has been increased by 29 percent monthly. Yes I was notified. Explicitly repeated my concerns re that upon signing one year ago. Was reassured by Tiara Blair previous acting asst mgr it would only go up max 4 percent. Beware and use your judgement renting here This is my home where I don’t feel trustworthy and you put me in a difficult financial situation

My apartment is beautiful. Only complaint that I have that you need to have a better system. Because they steal your stuff. To be an elderly building. You should feel secure. Now blow people off because they telling you they heart, Most of the people that live here are on fixed income. Tried to fix the situation instead of blowing people off when you call the office they do not return your calls, Stealing is very bad here, And it is an inside job. What you all need to do is stop packaging for delivering on weekend because nobody is in the office. I seen a box on the outside of the door and ask one of your staff. Are you gonna bring this in and she reply no. if you want people to stay you have to change some things times is hard. Your electric company is too high. We know the cost of living is high, Take people concerns like if it was your mother..

I was one of the first tenants here since they opened I have two complaints packages are stolen on a regular basis and nothing is being done about it and the utilities are too expensive I've called and emailed several times and still no response I wouldn't recommend anyone moving in here

I like my apartment. BUT the only issue I have is the people smoking. Sometimes can't have my windows open or sit out on the balcony. My grand daughter came over one week end. And we were out on the balcony and had to come back in. She said grandma I thought they weren't supposed to be smoking on the property. Its a shame when we pay so much rent. Want a good clean environment for ourselves. Speaking for myself I have breathing issues and to be around that it doesn't help. NOT just that a lot of areas in the building need carpet cleaning. I had put a maintain order for that but nothing was done about it. Elevator one that is close to the side door A smells like dog urine. Dog urine can cause health issues . It can cause respiratory issues for a person. Sometimes the smell on the elevator is very strong. But other then that I like my apartment.

I have actually been very disappointed with my stay. Aside from the affordable rent rate, I was offered a 2 month free move in special, fully qualified, and they only gave me one month free which I had to go all the way to the top people to get, they didnt honor it automatically. Where is the second free month?? I also REGULARLY have my groceries and packages stolen....yes, the GROCERIES too! The ' cameras' are not a deterrent, and when asking for help from the office staff, I am told to go to the local police and ask THEM to see the camera footage. They are not even onsite!! I was taken for a fool, and I dont appreciate it. I have never lived somewhere where there are nothing but elderly people who steal your things. And obviously Legacy Commons thinks we're all too old to understand our rights and their responsibility to uphold a promise. If they dont have to honor the 2nd month free or ensure my deliveries are safe on this property, why should I be expected to keep living here? Why should I honor my lease? Think twice before you move in. Looks are deceiving and there is a CONSTANT smell of dog urine in the elevator and hallways. It never is cleaned or shampooed and the smell is dreadful and makes me sick to my stomach. Overall disappointment 😞.
