Nice staff, but the eligibility markers keep changing and the approval process is cumbersome and questionable with little to no communication (this seems to be an ongoing problem based on other reviews). I was really excited to make the transition to Legacy Commons and then, very suddenly, my application was canceled (something I had to research myself - again, no explanation, no follow up). If this is the entry point, it raised a lot of concerns about living there long-term. I asked someone in the lobby how she liked it there and she responded that "you take the bad with the good" and that feels right to me.

I relocated to MN from FL in January, 2025 and moved into Legacy Commons at that time. I am very happy here. The apartments and buildings are clean, maintenance is receptive and staff are helpful and professional. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there is much turnover of staff, from Manager to Leasing Agents to Administrative Assistants. It seems they are always short staffed which means unanswered voice messages and/or phone calls, no-one in the office to speak with, and some of the new hires aren't familiar with processes/procedures or software tenants use. Corporate needs to increase budget for additional staff.

I feel very safe, close to stores, I don’t have any complains about my time at Legacy Commons. I don’t plan on leaving anytime soon.

The very WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE was moving here! The staff are all criminal starting at the office, where they adjust your paid ledger, and demand you pay AGAIN. Yes I have proof, and spoke to 10 people who had the same thing happen to them! When they pull that on you, don't forget to say you are calling the cops, cuz that is what gets your account right. They prey on vulnerable seniors scaring them with eviction threats. They evicted my veteran neighbor, he showed me his ledger, where they altered it to say he made PARTIAL payments, (not even an accepted thing!) and he refused to pay. They adjusted my ledger three times, and demanded money. It was only when I said I was bringing this sheisty ledger to the authorities that they THEN corrected it! They have employees that go in your apartment when you are gone, claiming 'water leak check'. They rob your 'SECURE' underground parking and storage lockers. It's quite the criminal operation going on there. Don't trust a SINGLE word they say, as they are proficient at passing the buck, saying someone else will handle it. If you like drug dealers yelling outside at all hours, and watching all that 'traffic' out your window, being robbed, your security camera bashed, broken elevators, then maybe this is the place for you!
I moved out, did not renew the lease.
Class action lawsuit here for double billing garage and lockers too, google it.
They immediately settled out of court. 🤦‍♀️

My apartment is beautiful. Only complaint that I have that you need to have a better system. Because they steal your stuff. To be an elderly building. You should feel secure. Now blow people off because they telling you they heart, Most of the people that live here are on fixed income. Tried to fix the situation instead of blowing people off when you call the office they do not return your calls, Stealing is very bad here, And it is an inside job. What you all need to do is stop packaging for delivering on weekend because nobody is in the office. I seen a box on the outside of the door and ask one of your staff. Are you gonna bring this in and she reply no. if you want people to stay you have to change some things times is hard. Your electric company is too high. We know the cost of living is high, Take people concerns like if it was your mother..
