This property presents itself as “luxury,” but the reality is deeply troubling.
Persistent odors of marijuana and animal waste are common throughout the building. Basic sanitation is routinely neglected, with animal waste frequently left in shared spaces. Cleanliness and enforcement are inconsistent at best.
During my tenancy, I encountered multiple dangerous situations that no resident should ever face. I rendered emergency aid to an individual suffering a drug overdose in guest parking. On a separate occasion, I was injured while attempting to de-escalate a violent situation involving non-residents who had been invited onto the property.
The most disturbing incident involved my young child being approached inappropriately by a non-resident in a common area. When I intervened to protect my child, I received a lease violation…because I was involved in an altercation in which the police were involved. I was the one who called the police. This pattern sends a clear message: reporting safety concerns may result in punishment for the reporting resident.
There is an ongoing issue with harassment at shared amenities, particularly toward women. These concerns have been reported repeatedly, yet residents are told no action can be taken without police reports, despite the risk of lease violations for those who involve authorities.
Management further discourages transparency by monitoring residents’ online activity and issuing lease violations for negative commentary. This creates a culture of fear and silence rather than accountability.
Maintenance response is equally inadequate. After significant water intrusion through my ceiling, management acknowledged the issue immediately, yet repairs to the resulting damage took five months.
Selective enforcement is evident throughout the building. Certain individuals appear to receive ongoing protection, while others are penalized swiftly for minor issues. Attempts to raise concerns or escalate issues are routinely dismissed.
This is not a luxury building. It is not family-friendly, and it is not a safe environment for single women. Prospective residents should look elsewhere.
