If you are seeking a residence characterized by persistent odors of marijuana and animal waste, this property may meet your expectations. Unfortunately, basic sanitation is an ongoing issue; common areas are frequently soiled with animal waste.
During my tenancy, I was forced into situations no resident should ever encounter. I administered lifesaving aid to a man who overdosed on fentanyl in the parking ramp. On another occasion, I sustained a black eye after being kicked by a drug-impaired individual while attempting to intervene as she assaulted another resident.
Most disturbing of all, my seven-year-old son was targeted by a predator at the pool. When I intervened to protect my child, I received a lease violation, despite the individual not being a resident of the building. Meanwhile, homeless individuals routinely occupy the stairwells and use the common restroom near the pool to bathe and shave.
There is also a resident who regularly harasses young women at the pool. I have reported these incidents to management, but they claim no action can be taken without police reports, which many residents are afraid to file due to legitimate concerns about retaliation.
Management actively monitors residents’ social media activity and issues lease violations to tenants who speak negatively about the property or management online. This practice discourages residents from reporting safety concerns or sharing honest experiences, further contributing to a culture of fear and silence.
On the day I picked up my keys, I was physically attacked by a woman named Myrna., in the lobby and in front of management. When I attempted to file a formal complaint, the leasing agent urged me not to proceed, stating that she was “a really nice woman.” I disagreed and requested that the incident be documented. Over time, it became apparent that certain individuals receive protection and preferential treatment from management, while others face swift enforcement actions for far less serious matters. Myrna still lives here and continuously harasses residents (especially minorities), but my lease was terminated for hurting Dylan’s feelings.
This property is neither family-friendly nor safe for single women.
