Generally speaking, maintenance in my apartment has been prompt and effective. However, the maitenance in the halls has been less than acceptable. The carpets, newly-installed approx 3 years ago, are getting stained and those stains are not removed promptly.

Giving this an additional star because of the unit size and location. Otherwise not a great experience. To avoid a lengthy review on several examples, I will try to summarize. Lots are not well maintained in the winter. It was always super icy. Spun out constantly at every stop sign. I was not the only one. I saw people spinning out every day when I was there. Gym is not well maintained. I often saw bolts and nuts lying by the machines. Makes you quite concerned about the safety of the equipment available. The tvs were constantly out of order and would not get fixed for 3 months at a time. They would work for maybe 2 weeks, then repeat same cycle. Smoking is a problem. Always could smell it in the hallways and was regularly seen at the "non-smoking" pool area. Totally unreasonable when there is an opportunity to make some money. My girlfriend at the time (now wife), was living in another unit in the building. She was to move in with me at the end of her lease, but was forced to pay an application fee again to go through the whole application process. Makes no sense considering she would not have to pay that to renew a lease in her same unit. Found multiple issues with charging us during our move out too. These are just some examples, however, I'll stop there. Great location, but comes at a price.

I moved to the landings in November of last year, here is my factual experience with this apartment complex: The good- Move in: Lisa was extremely helpful and flexible, I rented he apartment online since I was moving from out of state, I didn’t get to tour or see what I was getting into so it was quiet scary, I changed my mind a couple times on which floor I wanted to be on and Lisa was seriously unbelievable and Accomodaging. She always has a welcoming demeanor and is always looking for solutions. Maintenance, I’ve had very minimal issues with my apartment, one of them stemmed from the snow intruding from a patio door, when I called.Lisa had someone came up the same day and they fixed the issue. Speaking of maintenance, ALL the gentleman working here are phenomenal, my absolute favorite is Carrie, it is just a pure joy to see him, he is always upbeat and genuinely kind! He alone gets 5 starts for just being an awesome human 👏🏽 The apartment- The apartment is large, clean, spacious and I cannot hear my neighbors, what else do you need in a place? My neighbors are nice and they all love my son. They have carts in the garage which makes life so much easier with a 2 year old and hauling groceries. The gym is nice and neat, the sauna is all I really care about!!! Cub foods, Starbucks, chipotle, caribou, dental office and more are all around the corner at walking distance. The bad- My only issue is the price for a second key, But when I lost mine because it fell off the key fob they replaced it for me free so I am a huge fan of this place period. The ugly- Minnesota winters lol 😆 but that’s not Landings fault Please DO NOT allow the negative reviews to deter you from renting here! This place is a gem!

It's a nice place, but one would expect more for the cost. There's an additional charge for both- underground parking and storage. The underground parking uses a fob versus remote which requires you to either open your car door or window to activate. That defeats the purpose of underground parking. Some of the areas don't seem to be maintained well- garbage rooms that can start to smell and linger into the hallways and entryways that gather debris and trash which smell of cigarettes and smoke at times. The management staff is hot or miss, it just depends on whom you're speaking with. The workout room can feel rather small when there are more than 3-4 people in there. There are no specific spots for guest parking. To live here, you must love dogs because they are very common and there doesn't appear to be a weight limit. It's not uncommon to walk down the hall and hear does barking as you pass by or to enter the elevator with dogs. Nice apartments, but very pricey considering some of what I was expecting. Great location as long as you don't look to the West. They pond area is very nice to walk around with a nice view.
