  This complex is morally corrupt in the way it treats tenants. We gave notice to move out, and management offered to let us ‘spread out’ the termination fee — but what they failed to disclose was that this would lock us into paying for additional months, ultimately costing us much more. It felt like we were robbed at a time when we could least afford it. They knew our situation, they knew we needed out as soon as possible — yet instead of being honest, they deceived us and took advantage of our situation.

  Ive been living in these for just over 4 months. Im happy to use the word home now. I read the reviews and I laugh at some ,agree with some. There's no doubt this property has been here for a while. That being said. I wouldn't say they've let the place go. When you arrive at the main doors to the office. You're welcomed by fresh tropical plants. It was changed out from when I moved in originally. I also spoke with the person switching the foliage up. She was doing maintenance. You can see a passion. A mile away when someone loves their craft. Im always happy to know its the first thing that says"home" when arriving. There is a staff member I see every morning. Keeping the place clean. Working hard. Its definitely cared for as well. As far as maintenance goes. There's a gentleman named Mark. He's should have a name tag with "Johnny " because he is Johnny on the spot. Always responsive and again. I feel he cares about the property as if it literally was his own. There are 3 terrific ladies that run the rental office and day to day details. They all are great. I've been greeted by all during the decision making of if or if I shouldn't want to stay at medicine lake apartments. As far as value. This property comes in many levels of comfort for what you feel comfortable paying. There is a few reviews about noise. Im on 3rd. No complaints from me. This building is a wood frame construction. Its got a few creaks even in the attic above my space . You need quiet. Go up. You want convenience. Go down to lower units. Also. The 3rd floor lake views are a little higher in price. The view is outstanding and the lake breeze can be quite tranquil on those terrific days. Ive not gone through a winter, but I believe 3rd floor will be warm and comfortable. Heat rises. So summer. You'll need the ac on the hot days. The wind is warm from the south in summer. I open it all up when we are greeted by a northwest breeze. I can't think of much more terrific feelings when the wind breaks west and I let the air flow thru. If you've gotten this far in my review. You're already thinking "is this the place ?" I cant answer that. Its all about what you seek. If you don't like dogs. Its not your place . Although ive loved being greeted by the many I've seen. Not an aggressive one yet. Across all breeds. There's so much space to roam if you indeed have pets. Ine seen cats. Not a cat....cats outside on leashes too. Its amazing. I believe the blend of multiple demographics comes into play here, in a great way ,as well.there's young. Couples, singles, you name it. Middle aged and a few white hairs roaming around. The thing that stands out. Is everyone is active. Its right on a major bike highway. Walking trail and just a great adventure awaiting you . Outside you door Its been safe. For sure. If you have young kids. That's important. Don't let your children run down the street lol. I think you'd agree on safe. There's the feeling of a growing social aspect im feeling as well. I can't say ive "hated " anyone. In fact. Its been pleasant Across the Board. The management has been filtering in little fun social events as of recent. Its been. Slightly too early for me personally but will try to join when I can , next time. I realize its being hosted by staff , during standard office hours . Im hoping someone in the client side will organize a fun night to get to know more peeps. Cuz ive really enjoyed every single person so far! In closing Im very pleased with my decision to make this my home. I hope you take advantage as well , if this message reached you. Im gonna add a few sunset pics and maybe a evening pool shot.   I'm new to the town and I was greeted by the amazing Tyrese. I had such a friendly and well informative tour. Even though I was asking too many questions, he helped me with every concern that I had. Thank you Tyrese, you rock!
