  Worst rental experience I’ve ever had BY FAR, Gaar Scott deserves negative stars I lived here for a year and a half. There is nobody managing this building, at all….. you can’t get ahold of ANYBODY EVER FOR ANYTHING. Try to call their office yourself. The best part is that they lost several months of my rent payments and sent a $7,200 balance to collections after I had already paid them in full and moved out. Even after all of that, I still can’t get ahold of their Gaar Scott office…… it’s supposed to be on Sheridan Ave……. My lawyer thinks their management cashed my cashiers checks and never turned them into the actual office……. We are investigating it right now….. I disputed this whole thing with collections….. and Gaar Scott Lofts won’t return any of my calls or emails to show me what months they think I didn’t pay. I have records of every single payment and my bank is seeing who cashed each check right now. I moved out February of 2025, and they sent $7,200 to collections mid October 2025 and won’t answer my calls or emails. My credit score got cut in half and this was by far THE WORST RENTAL EXPERIENCE I’VE EVER HAD. They don’t have anyone to help you no matter what happens. I hope this building gets shut down the way they treat their tenants….. good luck Gaar Scott…… you are not there for your tenants and a lot of my neighbors had similar issues. Please respond back to this review with the correct contact information for me to get a copy of my payment ledger. I will reach out to you guys immediately

  Great environment here. Staff are always attentive and prompt. Building is well maintained kept clean.

  I have really enjoyed living here! The units are veryspacious and the high ceilings + big windows are a dream. Ever since new management took over recently, there have been significant improvements in response time for maitnence requests and property support. Specifically, Samantha Conrad and the maitenence repair person have been extremely quick in response and very helpful.

  I just took a tour of the available units. Prices are $350 above the average amount for rent in Minneapolis for similar units. Very run down building with no parking for residents or guests. $150 for garage parking is insane if it’s the only way a resident can park. No free street parking. And there has been reports of homeless people in the building entry ways. Read the Zillow reviews too. Not to mention, one of the units is ~$1500 without parking and without a washer and dryer in the unit. The landlords need to actually look at the state of these units and offer more reasonable rent prices and accommodations. The doors and locks going into the units are not secure and there are gaps around the door edges. Lastly, no amenities (roof, deck/balcony, lobby, gym, community room). I will only be interested in this place if they include parking and lower the price to something more reasonable.
