- KCKristin CassadaDec 30, 20252.0I would not recommend Cities Management. Long response time for emails and calls. Sometimes days. I had an issue with the dryer vent system, and it took 6 months for them to take effective action that fixed the issue. The vendor also said they worked with Cities Management with other locations and would not recommend them. We were also just assessed a special assessment of thousands of dollars that was not urgent. They only gave us a few weeks notice before it was due. We can pay in installments, but there is a monthly penalty fee for each month it is not paid in full. The staff is friendly when I contact them, but they are not efficient in responding. It is a very large company. I am pleased with how they keep the building and grounds looking nice.

Communication was inconsistent, basic governance and records requests went unanswered, and the company repeatedly resisted clear board directives during a transition. Rather than acting as an assisting agent, they created unnecessary friction and delays. We would not recommend them to other associations seeking transparency, cooperation, or professional partnership.

He responds to emails very quickly and always follows up with a phone call to let me know he received my message, what steps he’s taking, and what I can expect next. His communication, professionalism, and follow-through are exceptional. I truly appreciate the way he manages our community.

Derek is a great communicator and gets back to us quickly and addresses the concerns of the residents. The other day we were locked out of our unit and Derek was at our building in 15 minutes with the Master key to get us in. 5 stars for Derek!
- CYChao YuDec 3, 20251.0Absolutely not pleased, impressed or even satisfied with the new management as a board member. Nearly impossible to get a hold of, no physical appearance purely digital. Lack of professional communication resulted in several delay on sensitive matters. Continue to drop the ball on multiple time. Really proactive in charging the association a "trip charge" without having a maintenance person take a look first. Does excellent job in communicating the issue but without any further updates or resolution. If you ever wondering why your HOA fee is increasing YOY, look no further - Cities Management is thrilled at doing that. Should have selected a different management company for the association. Costly mistake for one to learn!
