DO NOT LIVE HERE. I have lived there for over 3 years and I'm now non-resident renter using their garage and its the most unorganized management ever. My rent was getting charged 2x more than what was agreed on PER lease when I lived there. I had to make sure I had a copy of the lease and have them change it every month because they would never fix it. I now rent their underground garage and management didn't charge me for months after I made efforts to get into contact with them to fix the issue. Once they realized their administrative error I was charged for all months at the wrong rate that was agreed upon. I kept emailing and calling and was getting limited response and they finally responded once I requested to talk to their regional manager. Also keep in mind Bierman charges you sales/city tax + service fee so you're paying an extra $50 for rent each month. But i've seen them go through 3 different management changes and each time it gets worse and worse. Just make sure you keep copy and records of everything when signing at bierman, because typically one thing you all agree on might not be what shows. I personally would not resign with them and this is my last time working with them. I would recommend you looking at other places before you sign at Bierman. Had I known that they were going to charge me EVERYTHING at the end of the year, I would've skipped signing here, even though it was their own administrative mistake you'll be the one paying for it. Save yourself the headache and sign somewhere else.

Do not live here. Applied for a 3 bedroom floorplan and management tried to claim that I was leasing by the bedroom and put me in a dirty 4 bedroom apartment that had been lived in for a year already. Also jacked up the rent $100 and only brought it back down when shown proof that the agreed upon rent was lower. Horrible communication all around from signing the lease onward. Offered to let me leave when confronted with evidence on what was agreed upon and inspecting the condition of the apartment but I was literally unable to due to the timing of the start of the lease (meaning they admitted fault on their end). I asked if I could move out just 4 months later when I had the ability to and they said that option was no longer on the table due to the fact that I had been offered it already, not taking into account that none of the time I had spent at bierman had been by choice and seeing that I had acted in good faith every step of the way. It’s clear that management cares more about squeezing college students for every penny rather than providing a good living experience.

To be completely transparent, our experience here has been disappointing, and not because it looks like a run down dormitory with the stench of a holding cell. The management is a joke. From the moment I submitted an application here communication was crickets, emails? Ignored. Phone calls? Good luck. Our oven broke on day ONE and management informed us they would be ordering a brand new one. After weeks of waiting for the *allegedly* new oven, it finally came, and let me tell you it was NOT new. It was the same crusty white appliance (mind you, stainless steel appliances are advertised). The kind (but admittedly not so organized lady of the office) was recently let go, or quit (up in the air on that one), right after promising my roommates a lowered rate for resigning. At this point I have decided to take my business across the street to The Marshal, but my dear roommates decided to resign and now are being harassed by the RUDEST person I have ever encountered from bader management corporate. This person has berated and belittled my roommates, over their promised resigning rate, while blaming them for a lack of communication. Clearly there is severe flaw in the internal communication of this company. Extremely affordable, but not worth my sanity, thanks, but no thanks.
