  My experience with Pulte Homes as the builder was overall very positive. I received consistent weekly updates throughout the process, and the construction team did an excellent job. The home turned out beautifully, with quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. Even though the process took a bit longer, I still closed on time. Their communication and professionalism throughout the build made a big difference. The biggest issue I faced was with Pulte Mortgage. They promoted a down payment and closing cost incentive, but accessing that support was extremely difficult. I worked with two different mortgage representatives who constantly gave me conflicting information, and I had to resubmit the same documents multiple times. Communication was disorganized and frustrating, and the process dragged on for months. Because of these issues, I eventually decided to use a different lender which turned out to be the best decision. One surprise I didn’t expect was that, on closing day, using an outside lender made the process take much longer. Even though I closed on time, I had to wait for hours at the closing table, which was disappointing after everything else.I fully recommend Pulte Homes for their construction quality and customer communication. But I do not recommend Pulte Mortgage, and I strongly advise future buyers to explore outside lending options early in the process.
