There’s no place like home. I’ve lived here for four years. The staff is great! The amenities are awesome! Maintenance is on the spot! Haven’t called for much but when I do, they are here in a hurry! Highly recommended!

We moved into Tarnhill 3 months ago and have been so pleased with our time here. When we have a concern, we are met with ears that hear and action is taken if need be. Management has been wonderful. We have met some really nice people in our building and when out in the community areas. Everyone seems very happy with where they live. Whenever we have visitors they can’t believe how much space we have in our 3 bedroom/2 bath. We are right where we are supposed to be in this time.

The amenities are a nice addition to the place. I appreciate the effort to keep adding newer equipment to the gym. And the neighbors are friendly. Only issue is the lack of effort to resolve issues when reporting a problem with staff.

I am vacating my apartment one month early and paying double rent at a new place because living here is below sub-par at best.
A particular problem is the litter and rubbish. Management does not walk the property, because the garbage sits for months in easily visible and accessible areas. It is the worst by far behind, in and around the 5240 building. Right outside of the doors, the garage, the hallways, the stairwells, the garbage chutes, laundry rooms, the woods behind the building - none kept up at all.
The woods behind the building looked like a garbage dump when I moved in, and I had to go to the corporate office to get anything done about it; and they told me to send them photos of it...when it is all plainly visible to anyone who just walks around the building. Garbage has been accumulating there since they "cleaned it up", and they have not been back there since.
Types of garbage: rotting meat/dairy/produce, TV's, metal/glass/plastic food and drink containers of all sorts, drug paraphernalia, clothes, liquor bottles, beer cans, cups, shipping packages/boxes, styrofoam, oil soaked cardboard boxes and jugs, and all sorts of other litter. And dog poop.
The garage and parking lot are a mess too - I have witnessed people literally throw trash on the ground as they get in and out of their cars. People also work on their cars, as in proper mechanical work with jacks, stands, liquids everywhere, tires and brakes disassembled and more. And no, they do not clean up after themselves.
Management is incompetent at best, and their communications are so poorly written that key information gets omitted. Choose somewhere else.
Response to Management: the only staff replaced was the manager the other month, and nothing has changed. Seems a bit worse in fact. Maybe some of the staff have been here too long...
