Aire MSP has been the worst place I have ever lived. The AC was constantly leaking, and when it was finally removed, it was full of mold proof that the unit had never been cleaned. When I asked for cleaning records, management couldn’t provide a date and kept dodging the question, which felt sketchy. The apartment was also overrun with spiders, the windows were filthy, and nothing was ever properly maintained. The laundry room was constantly dirty and smelled like trash, with animal hair piled up inside the washers that were never cleaned. On top of that, they set their own utility prices without any breakdown of usage, which violates Minnesota law, and charged hidden fees not disclosed in the lease. Parking was another nightmare you pay $75 for a “spot,” yet they don’t tow unauthorized cars despite signs saying they do. Maintenance barely patched things up, only for them to break again in days, and even admitted they wouldn’t recommend anyone live there. To make matters worse, the leasing office staff is rude, dismissive, and will cut you off mid conversation, which is completely unprofessional. The shuttle drivers are openly racist, refusing to pick up certain residents, which is absolutely unacceptable. The elevators hardly run they are always down or unbearably slow, making daily life even more frustrating. The gym is missing weights constantly, the pool is always closed, and the hot tub is never in service, despite being advertised as amenities. The entire experience felt like a breach of contract and an embarrassment for management.

Please avoid this place and go to the one down the street. There’s a lot of things wrong with this place: -many spider scrawling ALL over the windows (pictured) -building is extremely old and the appliances reflect that as well -half the elevators don’t work…I got stuck inside of one at 2am and had to kick the door in order for it to open -whenever it rains it leaks inside by the windows -the ramp parking is a safety hazard!!! Half of it is blocked for “construction” and has been that way for over 7 months and NOTHING is being done about it! Not to mention I pay $75 for the parking -water pressure is nearly non existent and nothing is being done about it even though I pay for the water bill -there’s only 3 washers and dryers on the entire floor so good luck trying to wash your clothes in a timely manner…usually takes the entire day -bathroom door does not close or lock -you have to pay for an admin fee whenever you pay for your bills that’s $8 and was NOT in the contract I signed -you have to pay $15-20 for trash per month For the amount I pay for rent it’s just not worth living in a small space with all kinds of problems. Move to the one next door there’s plenty of apartments around the area that are FAR better. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance people and the staff being nice. Will hopefully be moving once my lease is up because this is absolutely ridiculous.

Sophia did a great job of showing me around. And I’m very excited to become part of the community.

The whole team at AIRE MSP are responsive and friendly. However, this is the 6th time we have had to get maintenance to the AC unit. Frankly, I can compare this to trying to weld steel to rust . . . impossible to repair when there is fundamentally something wrong with the whole AC unit installation. The system and building are old and there needs to be some additional investment when it comes to the AC systems. We have heard of too many others having similar issues for this not to be the case.
