  Jennifer is great to deal with! Go see her if you are looking for a new home. She is very knowledgeable about all the homes and upgrades and the homes are beautiful.

  I started working with Logan from Clayton Homes of Martin at the end of December 2025. There was a lot I did not know about manufactured homes and getting the home set up in a park. Logan was very informative and put in a lot of effort making sure I was equipped with the right information. Logan listened to what I was looking for in a home. He chose a few units for me to look at. The "one" was the second unit he showed me. He spent a lot of time communicating with the park I wanted to move into on my behalf. Unfortunately, the more I learned about the manufactured home buying, delivery, and setup process, I was not nearly as prepared as I thought I was to buy. Logan handled this very well with professionalism and grace. Logan is very easy to work with, and he's a great communicator. When I get more prepared for this, I'll be contacting Logan again.

  Long but worth the read… My husband and I bought vacant land about 1 year ago with full intentions of putting a house on it. Since purchasing we’ve not only cleaned it up, had electric installed, a well and septic is going in summer of 2026. All work has been done by licensed contractors(keep this in mind). Currently we’ve been using our camper out there as a get away from our current home… That being said we decided to start digging and doing more homework to put said house on land, so we came to Clayton. Our first experience with them was beyond horrible, Mike “helped” us, but also refused to show us the homes we wanted to see. He seemed pissed that we weren’t signing for a home that day, yet we told him we weren’t doing anything for atleast another year. We walked away defeated and decided to just wait longer. A few weeks later we got a call from Sam apologizing for our experience and asked if we’d give them a second chance. After some thought on it we decided to go back and discuss homes. Sam was super awesome, answered our questions to the best of his ability and spent a few hours with us going over the home and options we wanted, which we appreciated. He was aware of the work already done to the site and gave us the number to their contractors. My husband called them asking questions and they basically told us, it’s all or nothing with them. They weren’t going to accept that we had a lot of the site work done and the lady was beyond rude about it. Those contractors and Sam also kept saying, “we aren’t going to work with unlicensed people on the property site work, so you need to find your own site work contractors.” We explained that any and all work that’s been done to the property are by licensed contractors. Again, defeated. So, we went somewhere else, found the exact same house, the exact same options- explained the site work that’s already done. Not a problem with them, more than willing to do a crawl space and everything else needed to get the house there AND it’s $20,000 LESS!!- EXACT SAME EVERYTHING! AND thats using their contractors! I highly highly suggest doing your homework. Shop around! Clayton presents itself well but their contractors are rude and not even willing to listen. We can’t be the only people they’ve ever worked with that have a lot of the site work done, which is cheaper in the long run for the customers. They assumed we had people off the street doing the work and hacking away at it and that’s the furthest from the truth- we even have the paperwork to prove it’s all been done by the books! They up charge majorly and it’s sad and gross to see. This isn’t a cheap investment and if you don’t follow their play book- you’re out. We dont recommend Clayton homes- there are way cheaper places for the same homes!
