I completed a tour, viewed the point style apartment #214. This available unit microwave was not located over the stove like other units it was nailed underneath a cabinet which turned me completely off about this apartment.laundry room is located on the lobby floor. Last tenant that lived there was handicapped so they made it handicapped friendly. However it’s a decent apartment but for the asking monthly rent of $1390 plus a $15 gas fee = $1405 a month I want the apartment to look how it’s advertised. Online.

I applied to Tremont based on their online listing, which clearly stated the apartment would be available on August 16. That date was critical for me, and I even paid a $60 application fee and a $200 security deposit based on that information. After applying, I was told the apartment wouldn't actually be available until the end of August—because they didn’t factor in the 14-day turnaround time after the current tenant moved out. So in reality, the date they posted was misleading and not accurate. They based the listing on the lease end date, not the true move-in availability. This kind of bait-and-switch wastes people’s time and money. I ended up canceling my application, so I basically paid $60 application fee and $200 deposit for a misleading ad ,If you're on a tight timeline or budget, I’d advise being very cautious. Ask specific questions before paying anything, because the listing may not reflect the actual availability.

I do not recommend living here. My brother and I have lived here for about 2 years are willing to be leaving as soon as our lease is up. The only upside is the location, it is very easy on/off to 75 and close enough to the downtown Clawson area. Other than that, this place is horrible. They rarely complete work orders in less than 10 days, they are no help when you try to reach out to the office, etc. There are washer and dryers in the building (not in unit) that are frequently going up in price to use (ends up being almost $5 to wash and dry a load of laundry). For some reason, we frequently lose power even when the areas around us do not. The scanner for the door is spotty and one of the exterior doors was missing a handle for nearly 2 months during the winter. They continue to raise rent, so we are out of here. Avoid this place at all costs.
