  Very pleased with this community and apartment. I had heard some not-so-great things about previous management, but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. This was the only apartment in the area that offered reasonably priced short-term leases, which was perfect for my final semester at MSU. The community was quiet and well kept, and I really liked the covered parking and new carpets in the unit. My only real complaints were that the short-term lease fee (+$100/month) wasn’t brought up until I was signing the documents, and I had to pay a full final month instead of prorated rent. However, I did receive my full security deposit back along with the refund for the prorated rent, so everything was handled fairly in the end. I’d recommend this apartment and community to others, especially MSU students who need short-term housing, prefer the quietness of a 1 bed / 1 bath, and don’t mind a drive to campus.

  Lived here since October 2023 and moved out November 2025 due to excessive rent increase (from $685 to $774) for the quality of living. Shortly after Beztak took over from the previous leasing company, I started having issues with mice and roaches in the complex. They have a contract with Orkin who, while being quite friendly, only put down sticky traps that never truly solved the issue. At one point I was given instruction to evacuate my unit so they could fog it but I watched pest control come in, look around, and then leave without doing any treatment through my in home camera. I ended up having to pay money out of pocket to place my own traps. Maintenance at times would mark a work order as completed without having actually done any work and would randomly enter the home while I was away with no prior contact from the leasing office. In the winter time sidewalks would be plowed but not salted leading to me falling and hurting myself on the ice. When they first took over from Autumn Ridge it seemed like they were making good updates but the place is the same, if not worse, to how it was before.

  Manny, the maintenance technician, is stellar! Office staff is always kind. Edit: Carbon Monoxide testers for in-unit testing can be purchased locally or online.
