  I’ve lived at this complex for 2 years. Dave the maintenance supervisor and Stephanie the community manager have always been helpful and on top of my concerns. However, Jessica is extremely rude and dismissive. Don’t speak with her if you need help with ANYTHING. She gets irritated when you have questions and treats you like you shouldn’t be talking to her in the first place. For her to sit in my face being blatantly rude to me, giggling and claiming that “you didn’t even know my name 2 minutes before this convo” when she’s the only person who answers the phone, therefore clearly I know who she is. Very unprofessional and I’m not the only one who’s called that out. She also scared other potential prospects away, who have left reviews.

  I recently visited The Ascent and had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie, the manager, and what a delightful young lady she is! Out of all my tours, she is the only manager who personally took the time to meet with me—normally it’s just the leasing consultants—so that was such a wonderful surprise. Stephanie made me feel like the center of her attention during my tour. As a first-time renter in a very long time after owning my home for years, and being on a fixed income, I unfortunately wasn’t able to afford the apartment. However, Stephanie took the time to guide me thoughtfully, suggesting options that could help me stay within my budget while adjusting expectations around amenities. Her kindness, patience, and professionalism were truly exceptional. She didn’t make me feel pushed away or dismissed; instead, I felt genuinely cared for. We need more kind-hearted souls like Stephanie in the world! Although I wasn’t able to move forward this time, I would highly recommend anyone considering The Ascent to ask for Stephanie—her customer service is truly outstanding

  I was genuinely interested in applying at The Ascent because I loved the apartment layout, the community, and the location. Unfortunately, my experience with the leasing agent, Jessica, completely changed my mind. I arrived about 15 minutes early for my tour. She opened the door without greeting me, said “we’re on lunch, come back at 1,” and shut the door in my face. When I returned at 1, there was still no greeting, no questions about what I was looking for, and no effort to engage with me as a potential resident. During the tour, she stayed on her phone the entire time, explained nothing, and appeared bothered by any questions I asked. I felt uncomfortable, unwelcome, and as if my time did not matter. I’m sure management will reply with a generic apology, but this is not acceptable. New residents should not waste their time scheduling tours just to be treated rudely by representatives. Because of this experience, I am no longer interested in moving forward, which is disappointing because I truly liked the property.
