Man! I can into place of business and there was this guy name Lawrence! He helped me! I didn’t have much understanding of what I wanted to do or what I was looking for. But Lawrence was intentionally knowledgeable and helpful. I was glad I was able to have service from Lawrence, thank you for helping Now I’m ready for a new change for me!
The staff are really kind and helpful. it’s common that at many apartments the staff do not care about their residents. However at Piquette my experience is different. I really love how they try to create a welcoming community and how they do their best to ensure that they can help you with the things you need. I understand that some things are just out of their hands, but they do try to resolve the situation the best way that they can.

Absolutely love the community and the staff. Very responsive and attentive team. The floorplans are a loft lovers dream, this community will not disappoint.
This apartment building has a completely unacceptable practice of entering residents’ units without their presence or proper notice. There is no reasonable expectation of privacy here, and it is deeply concerning to know that management or maintenance may access your home while you are away.
This is not just an inconvenience—it’s a violation of basic tenant rights and personal security. A home should be a place where you feel safe, not somewhere you have to worry about who might be inside when you’re not there. The lack of transparency and disregard for boundaries is alarming.
If you value your privacy, security, and peace of mind, this may not be your top choice.

If I could give less than zero stars, I absolutely would.
I’ve been searching for a new place to call home for the past few months and came across Piquette Flats Detroit. Kat, who showed me around, was great—friendly, helpful, and able to answer all my questions. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there.
The application support team is extremely disorganized and made the process nearly impossible to complete. I paid $50 the first time and received an approval, only to find out they had calculated my income incorrectly. I was then required to pay another $50 to reapply, but their online portal wouldn’t even let me upload documents or complete the verification process.
I even went back to the office, where Kat kindly helped upload the documents for me. Despite that, I was told the very next day that the information was still “incorrect,” which made no sense given the assistance I had just received in person.
At this point, I have nothing positive to say about how my application was handled. The process was frustrating, costly, and a complete waste of time. On top of that, after driving through the neighborhood again, I was not impressed.
Overall, this experience was incredibly disappointing, and I would not recommend applying here.
