Welcome to The Press/321 apartment community in downtown Detroit. The historic building was constructed in 1925 and became renowned as the in-house production facility for the Detroit Free Press, Michigan’s oldest newspaper. The 14-story, 250,000-square-foot limestone structure has just completed its transformation into a modern residential, retail and restaurant property. It boasts more than 100 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments with resort-style amenities and vast city views, soon to include ground-floor shopping and dining. Super nice apartment. But the parking garage is horrible, I waited 40 mins to get in the garage but multiple people that came after me were able to get out. Instead of charging the regular price of $295 for parking they charge $200 for the inconvenience that’s been going on for months. I rather pay $295 and not have to wait so long

Building has good bones and renovated nicely, but do not expect management to support you whatsoever. The promised underground parking is now over a year behind schedule, the pool is full of disruptive non residents (despite an unenforced 1 guest policy), and if you complain, you will be told you are the only person unhappy - I have heard this from three others in addition to myself.

Called for 3-4 weeks, emailed, submitted request to tour via direct website and apartments.com. Okay as told by the off site office that we would get a call back ASAP several times and we never heard back. I called once more today to see if there was any updates, there was none. Idk how people move into this place if they don’t ever hear back from anyone.
