I had a maintenance request put in late in the day and had someone come in the very next day. Kevin was great and was able to quickly find the problem with my bathroom sink and fix it. Not only was he professional but he also cleaned his work area before leaving!

I had a mixed experience moving in, but I wanted to start by highlighting the incredible service I received from Fatima. She was wonderful to work with—advocating for me to ensure I received the exact pricing I applied for and keeping me updated every step of the way. I couldn't have asked for a better service from her. However, the apartment itself was not fully move-in ready. I found chipping paint on a closet door, and the kitchen and bathroom drawers required significant cleaning. Most concerningly, I found two dead roaches and some very unhygienic residue inside the refrigerator. Under normal circumstances, I might have overlooked small details, but as I am currently recovering from a knee injury, the lack of cleanliness made the move much more difficult than expected. I hope the management team can ensure better preparation for future residents.

I had an excellent experience touring this property, thanks in large part to Fatima. She was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. She took the time to answer all of my questions thoroughly and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the tour. Her attention to detail and positive energy really stood out. It’s clear she cares about helping prospective residents find the right fit. I would highly recommend working with her!

Living at Arrive Wheaton became extremely difficult after Alyssa was removed as the property manager. Since the change in management, the environment has noticeably declined. The current management team has demonstrated behavior that many tenants perceive as disrespectful, dismissive, and unprofessional. Several tenants have expressed concerns about inappropriate conversations and personal matters being openly discussed by staff, which creates an uncomfortable and unprofessional atmosphere within the building. In addition, Ms. Alexandria has openly stated that she will not speak with tenants who have an outstanding balance. As a result, tenants who attempt to communicate with her regarding their accounts often find themselves unable to reach her or receive assistance. Alexandria has also reportedly stated on multiple occasions, in the presence of both current and former tenants, that she is attempting to bring in a “new demographic” of residents. Many tenants interpret these comments as reflecting elitism and classism, which is concerning in a community that should strive to be inclusive and respectful of all residents. Furthermore, there appears to be a pattern where certain staff members—specifically Gabriella, Maria, and Alex—engage in what tenants describe as an “ice-out” approach toward residents they dislike or perceive as unworthy of living at Arrive Wheaton. This behavior often manifests through ignored questions, delayed responses, or dismissive treatment. The current management style has created an environment that many residents feel is sneaky, unprofessional, and exclusionary. Ironically, while there appears to be a strong push to remove certain tenants, other serious issues within the building—such as individuals engaging in questionable activities—seem to go unaddressed. It is particularly frustrating to see tenants pushed out or ignored while the management team struggles with basic communication, professionalism, and accountability. For example, interactions with Gabriella often come across as lacking basic courtesy toward both staff and tenants. Maria, on the other hand, rarely addresses tenants directly when concerns are raised. Instead, she offers vague reassurances such as “I’ll get back to you,” only to follow up with an email later—sometimes while walking past the tenant without acknowledging them in person. Under the previous management, the experience of living here was far more positive. Communication was clearer, tenants were treated with respect, and the building felt professionally run. Unfortunately, the current management team has significantly diminished that experience. There are many qualified individuals—including college graduates—who simply need training and an opportunity to contribute positively in roles like these. With the right leadership and professionalism, this property could be managed in a way that benefits both the tenants and the community.

I am writing this to warn anyone considering applying here: Do not waste your time or your money. My experience with this leasing office has been a series of lies and sheer negligence. I applied for a unit, submitted all required financial documentation, and paid the non-refundable application fee. After waiting for two weeks, I was abruptly rejected with a claim that I did not meet the income requirements. When I went to the office to confront them with my documentation, the staff admitted they hadn't even reviewed my financial documents and blamed their "negligence" for the oversight. However, instead of rectifying the mistake, they called me a few days later with a completely different story, claiming the apartment was "never available" to begin with. It is clear this office is either completely incompetent or intentionally running a scam to collect application fees on unavailable units. They took my sensitive personal information and my money, only to provide contradictory lies and zero accountability. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere that values basic honesty and professional standards.
