  It has now been 6 days since the big ice storm and Donnybrook have not cleared out the pile of packed ice their contractors shoved directly behind my car in their lot. I understand that this is an unusual situation for our climate, but I would have been able to dig a path and get out if not for the pile of ice behind my car, which I can't get through even with a snow shovel. As of 9:30 this morning the cleanup crews were supposed to be removing the snow from the parking lots, but they either aren't doing the work or, more likely, are incredibly understaffed. As far as I can tell the solution Donnybrook management has for snow removal like this is a team consisting of 2 guys with ice picks and one ATV with a plow attachment. They are openly refusing to remove the ice their team left piled up behind my car. This is not workable or acceptable. It would be rude for me to leave a review based only on that (though after 5 days trapped in my apartment I'm certainly tempted to), so I'll say that the location is very nice and unlike a lot of the other reviewers I've never had any issues with mice or any other infestation. All of my issues with Donnybrook come from the day-to-day management of the property. Along with the ice issue, other problems include: - before moving in, I was told that they had recycling collection happening, and was given a location to take it on the property. After move-in I found that this was not the case, and they had replaced it with a normal trash dumpster. When my roommate and I asked at the front desk we were told that this was temporary and only because of the big amount of trash at move-out and move-in. It has been a full year and a half since then and I've never seen recycling collected here. - Donnybrook have done a very poor job of properly marking where guests are and aren't allowed to park. We were told "guests don't park in the lots" and nothing else, and I believed that to mean guests couldn't park in the parking spaces but that parallel parking was fine. After a guest was towed and had to pay $300 to get her car back, I learned that while Donnybrook did not have any signage at the lot to convey this at that time, the parallel parking spots on the lot side are also forbidden to guests. This is a reasonable policy, but the lack of signage is a massive problem. - Donnybrook Lane has been a consistently terribly maintained road the entire time I've been here, and my understanding is that it is Donnybrook's job to handle it. It's constantly covered with cracks and potholes so big I worry I'll damage my car by driving across it. While it's been better recently due to quick-fix maintenance a few months ago, past experience suggests to me that this will likely be an issue in the spring, as the day-to-day maintenance team seems to desperately need a larger staff and more support from management. Most or all of this could be forgiven if it was cheap to live here, but it's definitely not cheap by any metric. In short, this complex is run by people who do not care about you. They will lie to you, they will treat you like dirt, and they will still charge you absurd amounts for rent.

  It was a great experience living there. My wife and I had to move to the west coast. I have a question though regarding the washer & dryer ( because I loved it ) what was the brand for the washer & dryer? I want to buy one, so hit me up please. Thank you.

  Horrible and dirty place. Filled with roaches and rodent. This place mints money out of college kids. Avoid at all cost.
