  Living at Tall Oaks Apartments has been a very disappointing experience. I’ve been long here for about a year safety, cleanliness, and management communication have all been major issues. There are ongoing pest problems, including roaches and mice, and maintenance has entered my unit without proper notice on several occasions after consistently asking for notice. After dealing with package thefts, an attempted theft, and a late-night lockout where I felt unsafe, I installed a small Ring camera at my door strictly for my security. Instead of addressing the lack of building security, management gave me two violation notices demanding I remove it. What’s worse is that management never tried to hear my concerns or offer any kind of compromise, even after I offered multiple reasonable solutions. There are no building security cameras, yet tenants aren’t allowed to protect themselves. Overall, it’s been frustrating and disappointing to live somewhere that shows so little regard for tenant safety or comfort. I wouldn’t recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, safe, or professionally managed community.

  YALL DO NOT MOVE HERE OR ON A BOTTOM UNIT IF YOU WANT SPIDER CRICKET AND MICE RUNNING THROUGH YOUR UNIT. i have only lived here since february with my roommate and nothing get done around here. 1. my neighbors drop food and leave trash in the hallway and never clean it up . 2. the washer and dryer always dirty or broken. theres crickets in the laundry room too. i have bugs crawling out the vent, walls , under the carpet like spider, crickets , earwigs . everything 3. the rental office wants you to pay 475 to transfer units but it’s there fault why these units are infested. 4. We caught about 8-10 mice within the first 4 months which is nasty , 5. the rental office will sent out exterminators instead of solving the problem and moving you out. 6. They claim it will take 60 days to approve your transfer which sounds like laziness to me. 7. DO NOT MOVE Here . i spent the first 5 months scared to go to sleep Because i knew something was gonna be on my wall if i woke up in the middle of the night.

  Had nothing but problems since I moved in . The apartments below us made so much noise the first two nights I had to go down there at 3 am and ask them to please lower the noise . Then all of a sudden when they moved out I see a mouse on top of my stove. My other neighbor told me that she continues to call the rental office about the mice problem but nothing's happens. So now I have to go out my way to buy mice traps and I only been here since August ! Then rental office representatives is so rude ! They always have a attitude when I call just to ask questions. After my noisey neighbors moved out they hired some workers to fix the apartment and they blast the music so loud early in the morning starting at 6 am one morning. The movers and matinence peolple cut our water off with no notice . When calling the rental office they have no idea about any water being cut off and they told me call customer service so rudely I might add. I call customer service and they said it was an emergency plumbing issue . My thing is it wasn't the whole block out it was our building. Whoever is in charge could have nicely came to our doors and said " hey water is out for a hour , sorry for the inconvenience ". No one ever gave us a notice and when I went down to ask the one gentleman said someone name Scott would talk to me in the apartment that was in charge . Let's just say I never saw Scott for the 10 mins i was waiting outside the door . As I'm now typing this 2 hours after making a noise complaint I still hear the noise very loudly. Everybody does not work in the morning or evening. Some people work at night to sleep in the morning and evening! I will make sure never to renew this lease next July !
