  I just moved in a week ago, and I would have to give props to nice and quiet neighborhood here. The apartment looked clean and ready to be lived in. However, the AC unit has not been working properly since the day I moved in. It's July and there has been excessive heat these days. I thought that because the AC unit was turned off, it needed time to cool properly, but I've been having my worst nights with temperature above 90 degrees. The worst day was on Saturday (yesterday), and I called emergency maintenance to get this solved ASAP. They said that they're going to send someone, but they did not arrive. I called again and they said that they need a medical notice from my doctor stating that I cannot be in hot places (Is this even legal?), otherwise I would have to wait until Monday. I'm afraid that I'm going to have to spend another very hot night inside. Is this how you receive new residents?

  I have lived in these apartments for nearly five years and it has been mostly incident free. However there has been high turnover rate on my neighbors. I believe I am the only person still there from the time I moved in. Over the years we had a person living in one of the storage rooms, one of the two washing machines in the building has been broken on and off for nearly a year, and someone regularly breaking the lock off building's entrance door. Recently I came home to find out maintenance had entered my apartment without notice in order to check out what they will need to repair when I leave two months from now. I called to complain because I feel like I should have had notice prior to them entering my home since there was no emergency. The response I got basically said they can enter at will and do NOT have to give any notice. So if you are not comfortable with that DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!

  Management and maintenance is horrible. We had to call 3 times to resolve two issues. We complained about our air conditioning not working & our temperature remaining 76 degrees and higher. Once maintenance came he said that there was nothing he could really do and the temperature would not go low... which makes no sense? That is what AC is for.. Says he could not offer to do much else and it was basically what it was. Also advised us to open our windows for the apartment to cool down, but it is 92 degrees outside. Another maintenance man came to fix our fridge and left a blow dryer he used to defrost our freezer & left without even repairing the other issue we complained about because he so called forgot. I CANNOT WAIT TO LEAVE

  I have lived at these apartments for almost a year now ( my first ever apartment). My experiences have been pretty good. First of all it’s dog friendly, and for it to be a dog friendly complex, there isn’t dog poop everywhere. The grounds are maintained, to my satisfaction, but sometimes there is trash here and there, they do have people around the grounds that pick up trash. There are dumpsters everywhere and they all get dumped on a regular basis. There’s 2 shopping centers in walking distance (like maybe a 5 minute walk). There’s also a Walmart and target a short drive away. The apartments are old and outdated but Maintenance respond quickly and gets the problems fixed right away. Some reviewers said that there are long wait times when you call maintenance but I have never been on the phone longer than 10 minutes (even if it says wait time is 50 minutes). There wasn’t any problem with noise until the person below me moved in, I went to speak to him about the noise level and he’s lowed the volume to the tv so that’s not an issue anymore. The biggest concern I have with this place is the neighbors downstairs, they always have people walking in and out, they are dirty and they throw rotten food and cigarettes and other trash over their balcony onto the grass which causes bugs and roaches. So every time you want to enter the apartment building you have to step over all the roaches. I live on the top floor and only have seen one roach in my apartment the whole year, I have seen a couple centipedes though. I’m sure they have really bad bug problems on the lower levels. But overall I would recommend this place. The pros outway the cons.
