Paid rent a week ago and was never entered in the system because the “property manager” took a vacation and she’s the only one that can enter payments. Of course they got more people when it comes to file court cases they can all do it because 2 days later after paying rent they filed a case against us for not paying rent. Called twice, she still not in the office. Never experienced something like this before. They quick to take your money and file cases and they got the envelope full of money orders sitting in there with peoples rent money til Ms vacation comes back. The people that work here care only about money, charge all these fees, like valet trash and they come and get it when they feel like it, might leave a bag there if they’re tired of walking up and down. Rent increases, not a good place to rent tbh

We moved out, and overall the experience was disappointing. A risk fee was charged at the beginning, and the staff’s behavior was not appropriate. The focus seemed to be more on money than customer service.

Do NOT rent 13400 Apt I. The new property management lacks professionalism and respect for tenants. If you are sensitive to noise, do not move to Apt I. The buildings are old and poorly constructed, and even minor movements from upstairs are clearly audible. Normal walking sounds are loud, and the situation becomes extremely disturbing when neighbors are inconsiderate. My upstairs neighbors repeatedly made excessive noise during quiet hours, including frequent and disturbing bed noises late at night. I was woken up multiple times and struggled to sleep. I shared several videos with management. Each time, they notified the neighbors, and things would improve temporarily for a couple of months, only for the same issue to start again. This repeated several times. Eventually, the property manager along with a staff came to witness the issue firsthand just a couple of months before my lease ended. They acknowledged how disturbing the noise was. When I asked for a solution, I was surprisingly told that I move to the 4th floor. They also mentioned that going to court was an option but would take a long time. No practical solution was ever offered. After their visit, the noise stopped for a few months, including shortly after I renewed my lease. Unfortunately, the problem started again. I even shared an embarrassing video documenting the bed noise, yet nothing changed. The office’s only response was repeatedly saying, “We notified them about the noise.” The issue was never resolved, and I ultimately decided to move out. Before moving out, the former property manager informed me there might be a possibility of waiving the extra month payment required by policy. However, when I contacted the office to notify them of my move, I learned there was a new property manager. I requested to speak with her and received no response. After following up in person, I eventually received an email from staff stating the fee could not be waived. I again requested a meeting with the new manager and received no reply. When I later stopped by the office and saw that both staff and the manager were present, I found it very strange that my emails had been ignored. When I finally spoke with the manager, she was extremely unprofessional, she did not even introduce herself. It was clear she had not read my emails and was unfamiliar with my case, stating only that she had “heard about it from staff.” During our conversation, she said, “We don’t renew leases if there is a problem,” and questioned why I had renewed my lease. At the time of renewal, the issue had temporarily improved. Given that the problem had not been fully resolved, it is unclear why a renewal was offered in the first place. Overall, management’s response over the past several months has been very poor, showing a lack of attention and care toward tenant concerns. No real solutions were ever provided. I strongly recommend not renting at 13400 Apt I if noise is a concern. The office and management will do nothing to resolve it.
