  I had a great experience touring this apartment community. The property was clean, well maintained, and had a really welcoming atmosphere. Femi was friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions. It definitely feels like a place I could see myself calling home.

  I’m glad the leasing office showed me their true colors before I moved in. I got there at 4 pm because I do have a job but I left early today so that I could find somewhere to live. When I went into the leasing office the lady there told me that the agent was on the property showing a unit to another potential resident. When he finally returned (tall dark skin guy with dreads) he just stared at me with a look of disgust. I finally smiled and said hello because it was becoming uncomfortable. He said I’m trying to figure out why you are coming here when we’re about to close. I said I’m sorry but I do have a job too and I’m just trying to find a place to live. I waited for my turn and when the people he was helping left he stood up and started staring me down again. To once again break the ice I jokingly said I don’t like you because you’re making me feel really uncomfortable. He said when you’re done you can come and sit over here. I said you’re making me feel like you don’t want me here. He said we stop showing homes at 430 so this is extra credit. At that point I became angry. Mind you it wasn’t even yet 415. I told him you know what, I’ll leave since I’m inconveniencing you. The whole experience was absolutely awful. And the thing is the lady showed me their sliver package and I was really excited to see the gold. But whoever his name was was more interested in leaving for the day over helping a potential resident. I am so upset because I thought I found my next home but I wouldn’t even feel comfortable with him know where I live at this point.

  I initially planned to list pros and cons of this apartment, but this situation needs to be addressed. While I understand a storm occurred, maintenance and property management should have taken reasonable steps to ensure entranceways were safe and accessible. I went to the office to ask when the entrance would be cleared so I could move out safely. During this interaction, Ms. Octavia spoke to me in a disrespectful manner and stated that I was responsible for shoveling the entranceway, which is not a tenant responsibility. This response was concerning and unprofessional. I hope this matter is handled properly and with the respect residents deserve.
