  I have lived here a little less than a year on the tenM side. Let me first start by saying I love how my apt looks, and the area it’s in. Everything looks new and renovated. However, the quality of living here is becoming non existent. Since I have moved here the fire alarms literally have went off more times than fingers than I have. This is starting to be a monthly thing. Sometimes weekly. It is currently 2am and the fire alarms have been going off since 12 am back to back. Fire dept has came out over 6 times tonight alone they leave, and it goes off again ! My wife is 7 months pregnant and we have 2 small children. My toddler can’t sleep even though it’s past his bed time. My pregnant wife can’t rest and this is 100% unacceptable! I get fire alarms go off to help us but every time literally nothing is wrong! It’s a malfunction with the pipes! Ppl have complained on this for months on the reviews and were told they will work with the vendors to figure out. Nothing has changed it has not been prioritized. We pay way too much money every month to go through this it’s too cold to keep going outside especially with a toddler, baby, and pregnant woman! You would think they would give a discount on rent for the amount of times this has happened. They never accommodate us for all their inconveniences. Even worse when the alarm Is not going off on ten m, it goes off across the street at the M flats! Stop making excuses get your vendors on the phone and to the building and solve this problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stop saying you’re working on it. You expect your rent due on time right? Well we expect to get what we pay for. The alarms go off so much ppl are just starting to stay inside! It’s like the boy who cried wolf. One day someone won’t believe it’s an emergency when it will be. Never once have I seen a fire or real gas issue. FIX THE PIPE ISSUE! I work from home, and the alarm has gone off during calls, and important meetings! We live on the 5th floor and pay to be gated. Gate was broken for months! Again wife pregnant and going 4th to 5th floor not shoveled. Ice and snow! Systems have been down since the 6th. App for key not working, online portal not working, etc. They really should do something nice for their residents because this is crazy. If you work from home, have younger kids, are pregnant, or like piece of mind this ISNT THE PLACE FOR YOU! This is GHETTO!

Leasing Consultants Dipper and Jose embody excellence in service, responding promptly and efficiently to every inquiry and concern, ensuring I always feel valued and supported. The on-site maintenance team goes above and beyond, with Mr. Jake standing out for his quick, friendly responses that truly make a difference. His promptness and commitment turn frustrations into resolutions effortlessly. Our gym facilities are a haven for fitness enthusiasts, featuring two fully-equipped gyms, an exercise studio for yoga lovers, and a wealth of workout options to explore. The half-court basketball court fosters community spirit, while the dog grooming station exemplifies convenience for pet owners. This is a place where joy flourishes! With pristine surroundings and a vibrant, pet-friendly atmosphere, the location offers easy access to everything from the mall to groceries and transit. It’s a well-run community where I find endless inspiration and belonging! I love it here!

  I’ve had the usual complaints that anyone would likely have in an apartment complex. Staff can be slow to respond, loud neighbors, etc but overall it’s an awesome place to live with fantastic amenities. It’s an apartment so it’s not going to be perfect.

  I moved to TENm. late Summer 2018, and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time at this apartment. This is actually my second m.flats as I also recommend the Crystal City location as well. There are many amenities at this location especially since Columbia Town Center is within a short walking distance. Best 4 things about TENm.: 1.) Gourmet and spacious kitchen: perfect for cooking 2.) Best of both worlds in Columbia: Suburb feel with city amenities 3.) Basketball court and well maintained gyms (shared amenities with m.flats) 4.) Free parking and well maintained parking garage Worst 3 things about TENm.: 1.) Thin Walls - Helloooooo neighbors! 2.) Small Bathroom - no second light switch in bathroom (the fan is very loud and is the only option) and comes with bathtub instead of stand up shower 3.) Minor issues - minor scuff and paint marks that were not cleaned up before move-in, no sand ever on the shuffleboard table, not-so-friendly lifeguards Overall, I highly recommend TENm. as your next apartment in Columbia!
