Mr. Jimenez is extremely kind and caring person, but the property owners, legend Management is your typical greedy landlord. The price of the units continue to rise, despite no upgrades to any of the appliances in the units. I have lived in a two bedroom and a one bedroom, their one bedroom for sure smelled musty and for sure had mold issues. The prices have become unaffordable, there are more affordable places to live right up the street, that have similar appliance issues and problems of course, but at least their prices are better. Overall, despite Mr. Jimenez's kindness, I would recommend looking elsewhere for housing, unless of course, you like paying high prices, for rodent, roach, and mold infestations.

Do not move here if you want an apartment that values safety and proper communication. After I moved in, I noticed that the fire extinguisher in the hallway on my floor had a tag on it that said “Failed – August 2020.” I moved into my apartment in May 2021 and let the leasing office know about the extinguisher that same month. Months went by and the sticker was still on it, so I told them again and put in a service request to let maintenance know as well. Still nothing was done so I told the leasing office again and the extinguisher was finally replaced in June 2022, almost 2 years after it was marked as failed and over a year after I told them it needed to be replaced. They also took the failed extinguisher out and didn’t put in a new one until the next day. I have attached photo evidence of the failed sticker and the empty box with time stamps as proof. To make matters worse, one day a couple of months before they finally replaced the extinguisher, I noticed they were testing fire alarms in the buildings around mine. However, the alarm in the hallway outside my apartment never went off but one in the floor below me did. Over a month later, I heard people working on the fire alarm outside my apartment (seemingly fixing it) and then they tested it and the sound did go off. So, I believe there was a period of time when I was living there and my floor (the top floor of my building) didn’t have a working fire alarm or fire extinguisher. I questioned the property manager about both issues (the fire extinguisher not being replaced and the fire alarm being broken), and she claimed to have no knowledge of anything and crucially, did not deny either accusation of fire safety neglect (see screenshot of messages for proof). She also offered for us to break our lease because the situation was so bad but then never followed up on either issue. Another safety problem I ran into while living here happened a few months before I moved out. I put in a service request for paint peeling off the ceiling of my living room (possibly from water damage), and the maintenance man looked at it and said the leasing office would have to schedule a contractor to come and fix it. A few weeks later, a man knocked very aggressively at my door while I was working and told me he was there to fix the paint. I told him that he couldn’t do it then because I was working under the spot and there was heavy furniture that needed to be moved out of the way to fit a ladder there. About a week later, another man showed up and knocked at my door. Since I was working, it took me a minute to get up and he started opening my front door himself right as I got to the door. This man was a random contractor from who-knows-what company, and he was given a key to my apartment and told to let himself in if no one answered the door. I have a cat and she could have gotten let out by accident if I hadn’t been home to stop him from coming inside. I called the leasing office and told them that they needed to schedule this work ahead of time with me because I needed to move furniture and my desk for work before the contractor comes. Sophia in the leasing office assured me that she would do that, but then called me back later that day and said she had a contractor ready to come up right then even though I was still not ready for that. I ended up having to email the property manager about the situation, and she scheduled them to come on a day/time that worked for me. The amenities are also terrible especially when compared to other apartments in the area. The pool can barely fit 2 families in it, the gym is in a room the size of a large closet, and the clubhouse is small and I never saw anyone there when I went to the leasing office. This place charges a $300 non-refundable amenity fee, which I had to pay even though I never used any of the amenities.
