  I am writing to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the help I received today from two young ladies; Sade and I didn't get the other young lady's name, they came as promised and on time. They removed the heavy ice and hard snow from my car. I was so amazed because they worked fast and diligently and were finish within 15 minutes. I'm an elderly woman and didn't know how I was going to get my car from being stuck. The two young ladies were very polite, respectful and genuinely caring, I also want to thank assistant manager Ray for referring them to me. I am deeply appreciative of both their help and assistant manager Ray's thoughtfulness in connecting me with them.

  What an exceptional team we have here at Woodmore. I brag about our guys a lot, I simply would like to express publicly what I have privately. It’s not an easy task to run well organized professionals. Seeing that we have some of the best property management staff I’ve yet come across, I’d like to shine a light on them. Whether it’s a leak in my faucet, or my AC not working, or my Toilet won’t stop running. It could be that my washer / dryer has an issue, or I’m locked out of my place for the 100th time. With a smile Greg, Danny, & Chris ALWAYS come through for me. Some would say, yea well that’s their job … Maybe so, but people now a days aren’t nice, and if they are nice, they don’t have to be nice to you. Time in & time out I call on Greg, Danny, & Chris , and time in & out they never cease to show up for me with the same energy. Always willing, eager, & ready for an opportunity to assist. I’m grateful.

  This review is solely about snow removal around the complex. PROS: Our leasing agent, Rashelle, sent out an email asking residents to clear a path so the plowing company could properly plow the lot after several days of inadequate service. When I returned home, I saw Mr. Greg actively directing residents, helping get cars unstuck, and guiding people on where to park so they were out of the way of the plow. Another positive is that there is still time to correct. CONS: Unfortunately, these efforts were ultimately ineffective. I personally witnessed the newly hired snow removal company drive around the parking lot two days in a row without lowering the plow even once. After the snowfall, sidewalks remained obstructed, which is a direct violation of ADA Title III requirements for accessible routes throughout the complex. The single pass of the plow that was completed created snow buildup that later froze, further trapping residents rather than improving access. It is disappointing that there did not appear to be a clear plan to prioritize resident safety for a snowfall that was well forecasted in advance.

  Over the past several days, as Maryland has been hit with snow, ice, and extremely difficult conditions, the level of care and consistency shown by Greg and the maintenance team at Woodmore Apartments has been nothing short of exceptional — with Greg’s personal dedication and visibility standing out in particular. From Sunday morning, when the storm began, through Monday, and all the way up until today (Wednesday), I have seen Greg out there every single day, working — clearing, treating, and maintaining the walkways and common areas to make sure residents could move around the property as safely and easily as possible. In conditions where many people would understandably slow down or pull back, he did the opposite. He stayed steady, visible, and committed. Because I’ve still had to move around during this storm, I can say firsthand that the difference his work made was not theoretical — it was real and practical. The paths have been consistently accessible, the walkways treated, and the property kept navigable in weather that has been genuinely dangerous and unforgiving. What makes this even more meaningful is the context of what this community has been through recently. Woodmore has endured real loss, and yet the people who keep this place running have continued to show up with professionalism, pride, and dedication. Greg embodies that. His work ethic, reliability, and quiet consistency reflect a deep sense of responsibility to the residents and to the community. Maintenance work often goes unnoticed when it’s done well — and only gets attention when it isn’t. In this case, it deserves to be acknowledged and praised. Greg’s efforts during this storm, and in general, represent the kind of dependability and care that makes a real difference in people’s daily lives.   Woodmore Apartments, by far, has been the best places I’ve lived since moving to Maryland! I have been a resident at the Woodmore Apartments in Bowie, MD, for the past three years and have thoroughly enjoyed living here! I want to spotlight and recognize our maintenance team—specifically Mr. Gregory, Chris, and Danny—for the services they provided during the recent major winter storm on January 25th. Throughout the storm, these gentlemen went above and beyond to ensure the safety and accessibility of our community. I personally witnessed them working tirelessly to clear walkways, apply salt to high-traffic areas, and shovel handicap access points. They even stepped in to salt areas of the parking lot that the plow trucks missed, preventing dangerous sheets of ice from forming. Beyond their standard duties, they provided hands-on assistance to residents who were struggling to dig their vehicles out of the thick ice. They offered guidance, shoveled out spaces for those unable to do so themselves, and even helped push cars to get residents moving. Their willingness to assist the community with such dedication and care is truly rare and deeply appreciated. In addition to their outstanding performance during this weather event, this team consistently handles daily maintenance requests with professionalism and efficiency. From the bottom of my heart, I truly thank these gentlemen for their dedication and care to the residents and to the community 🤍🙏 If you’re considering moving here, please do so! You’re going to love it here!
