I am extremely frustrated with the ongoing issue of our apartment building’s front door not functioning properly. This is not an exaggeration, if you want to live somewhere where you can’t reliably access the main entrance, this would be the place.
Since I moved in, the front door has never worked consistently, and management has failed to resolve the problem. A resident who has lived here since the building opened told me that this issue happens every winter due to the wind. This means management is fully aware of the recurring problem, yet nothing permanent has been done to fix it. In fact, they frequently have to tape signs to the door telling residents not to use it which is something I’ve seen more times than I can count.
What makes this even more frustrating is the audacity of putting up a sign stating that if residents use the front door, we will be held liable for any damages. Imagine how that sounds, that we can’t even use the front door of our own building without being threatened with responsibility. That is unreasonable and completely unacceptable.
Beyond being a major inconvenience, this is also a serious safety concern. Residents coming home late at night are forced to walk around to the parking lot and enter through a side door instead of safely using the main entrance. That is unacceptable. We are expected to pay rent on time every month, yet we are not being provided with something as basic and essential as a secure, functioning front entrance. This needs to be addressed immediately.Once I see this issue properly fixed, I will gladly come back and provide an update.

I would not recommend moving here.
The pool has been closed due to bacteria, and the same water has been sitting there for weeks without being properly cleaned. They haven’t even started working on cleaning it. The front entrance door is frequently broken, valet trash service has been removed, and I’ve had to kill several bugs in my unit — they appear to be silverfish coming through cracks in the walls.
We also used to receive notifications about things happening in the building, but since new management took over, there has been little to no communication — even when serious issues are happening. Tenants deserve to be informed about important matters that affect their living environment.
Since new management took over, the experience has declined significantly. I fell behind on rent due to an unexpected job situation, but I continued making weekly payments to prevent the balance from increasing. Previous management and leasing staff were understanding and worked with tenants who were making a genuine effort. However, the new manager sent a letter stating they will not accept anything less than the full balance or full rent amount.
I even consulted with an attorney, and they found it unusual that partial payments would not be accepted at all. It feels like there is no willingness to work with tenants, even when tenants are actively trying to resolve their balance.
Also, be aware of the fees. The base rent may look reasonable, but once additional charges are added, you could easily end up paying $1,500–$1,600 or more per month for a studio apartment.
This is no longer a comfortable or enjoyable place to live. Overall, the property has declined under the new management, and tenant concerns do not appear to be a priority.

It’s a decent place to live with nice amenities. I’ve noticed 6 small bugs maybe tiny roaches in my apartment over the span of three weeks, which has me concerned. But, I believe the apartment usually has pest control come frequently. It's also close it a lot areas.

Hi,
Someone checked the unit (heater), they said the whole unit needs to be changed. (I think that was on Friday). They said the maintenance guy will have to decide if they would change the unit or not!! I am waiting to hear back from them. I’m using the space heater. It is not automatic. I have to turn it off every so often, to make sure it doesn’t break.
In summary:
1. I’m waiting for the maintenance to approve that they would change my heating unit!
2. Using a space heater that I was given.
