The application and lease execution were handled quickly, and communication was prompt during the initial stage. However, after signing a fully executed lease with a December 20 move-in date, I was later informed that the unit would not be available. The move-in was first delayed by more than two weeks, and then pushed back again when I attempted to work with the office on a compromise date. Ultimately, the original lease terms were not honored. At one point, the signed lease reflecting the original move-in date no longer appeared in the online portal and was replaced with a version showing a different date, without prior notice. Fortunately, I had saved a copy of the fully executed lease for my records. I would strongly recommend that future tenants keep copies of all signed documents. After deciding not to move forward, I requested a refund of my deposit. Although my mailing address was confirmed in writing, the first refund attempt did not reach me. After requesting a reissue and picking up the check in person, I was informed that the original check had been mailed to an incorrect address. The matter was eventually resolved and I did receive my deposit. However, the process required repeated follow-ups and careful documentation on my end. While the initial leasing process was smooth, my experience highlights the importance of carefully monitoring lease documents, confirming timelines in writing, and keeping copies of all signed agreements.
