- SBS BSep 24, 20253.0This place is very much so you get what you pay for. There are reasons the rent is cheap. The apartment is not luxurious, it’s affordable and you can see it when you tour. Overall, I didn’t mind living here. I think I got lucky in my building with quiet and nice neighbors. There is definitely a mice problem and the only reason I haven’t experience it much is cause of my cats. The screens in the windows don’t fit properly so if you try to leave them open, you will get bugs. The ventilation in the kitchen sucks, I’ve had the fan going and opened the oven once to pull something out and that alone set off the fire alarm. I will say, a speed bump or something should really be added to garden ridge road as people will FLY down the road with no care. There are a lot of children in this area and even I have been almost hit. This is probably my biggest grievance. My air vents sometimes give off a vinegar smell, and when I asked maintenance about it, they “cleaned” them but it still persists. Maintenance is also kinda slow to respond, like others mentioned.
