I lived in this complex for over four years, and I can honestly say it was one of the most frustrating living situations I’ve ever dealt with. The elevators were constantly breaking down, and it always felt like the issues were “being worked on” but never actually resolved. It became a regular inconvenience instead of a rare problem.
On top of that, the leasing office staff was consistently rude and unhelpful. Any time I tried to address concerns or ask for assistance, it felt like I was bothering them rather than being treated like a resident who pays to live here. There was zero willingness to work with me, no matter how reasonable the request.
After years of dealing with the same problems over and over, my honest advice is don’t stay here. For what they charge, you can find something much better—somewhere that’s actually maintained and where the staff treats you with basic respect. Keep looking. It’s not worth the cost or the headaches.

I’ve had such a great experience living at 1405 Point Street! The apartments are modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed — the floor-to-ceiling windows, high-end finishes, and open layouts make it feel so bright and comfortable. The amenities are incredible too the gym is always spotless, the rooftop views are amazing, and the common areas are perfect for working or relaxing.
What really sets 1405 Point apart, though, is the management team. They’re always friendly, responsive, and genuinely care about the residents specifically James. Any maintenance requests I’ve submitted have been handled quickly, and the front office team goes out of their way to make sure everyone feels welcome. You can tell they take pride in keeping the building running smoothly and the community enjoyable.
It’s also in an ideal location close to the water, restaurants, and everything you could want in Harbor Point. I honestly couldn’t be happier living here and would highly recommend 1405 Point to anyone looking for a great place to call home in Baltimore!

I love my apartment unit. The views are beautiful and I often get amazing sunsets to watch when I’m home from work. The two bedroom layout is perfect for me and my WFH fiance. My work orders are usually completed in a timely manner (my microwave was broken on move in and took months to fix. The other minor issues I’ve had were quicker and the repairman has been very sweet to work with)
My issues, however, are with the function of our “luxury” building. I have been at this apartment for 1.5 years now and during this time, have had frequent interrupts to my comfort and amenities.
For 17 floors, there is often only one elevator in use. For the past 3 months alone this has been the case. This is quite frustrating when trying to leave or come home from work, often waiting 10 minutes or more to leave the building. This adds on a significant amount of time to my commute in the morning. I live on the 14th floor so I cannot feasibly take the stairs.
The in unit fire alarms die every 3 months. They are supposed to have batteries changed/tested during inspections but they don’t, they only change the air filters. This causes chirping in my apartment every 3 months as each battery dies and requires replacing (3 smoke detectors dying at different intervals every 3 months is very frustrating).
There are not enough mail lockers for this building. They are usually full and instead of being placed in the locker for you to grab, are piled in a package room. I have had “lost” packages before with no resolution. When you ask for help from the front desk, they almost always have a bad attitude. This stresses me out when I’m just trying to receive a package. One time a friend delivered an edible bouquet to my apartment, and I never received a text or alert it was with the front desk and it sat for hours downstairs until my friend ultimately had to spoil the surprise. The boxes are often jammed and require someone from security to reset the boxes and pull your package by hand. When there is such a large “lounge” area on the first floor that is NEVER used, I don’t understand how we can’t have a functional mail system for the amount we pay in rent.
Hot water has been turned off around 5 times during my time here for water pipe repairs. There has also been flooding on some of the lower floors and the gym which required repairs and was out of use for a while.
The lounges on the 11th floor are nice but the tv / speakers often do not work. The small gaming tables where you can play Pac-Man and joystick gaming is also always broken. I bought grilling supplies when my mom was visiting and found the grills to be out of gas.
I am quite sad the building is run this way. If they offered rent reduction or compensation for these issues, I would understand. For the price I pay to live here, I am ultimately dissatisfied with the quality of what’s offered.

You have to wait 10 minutes for an elevator just to touch some grass. Its a systemic management issue. Do not move here.

Lived here for over a year and had a poor experience, largely due to maintenance issues and apathetic management. Some example issues:
- Elevators did not function for over a month. In a building with ~20 floors.
- Hot water was often out for days at a time.
- The fire alarm would go off in the middle of the night about once a month
1405 did not seem to care about the effect of any of this on the residents and offered no concession on rent or utilities. I assume they have heavy turnover and rely on new tenants for revenue.
The office at 1405 Point is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. It is closed on Sundays.
