  I have been a residence for 12 years now, at first it was very nice, but things are changing. Weekends are bad because people are leaving trash all over the place and not using the dumpsters. It seems that the marijuana use is so out of control and mangement does nothing about it. The maintenance staff and the office staff are wonderful. To my understanding there is a major problem with rodents because of the trash issue. David does an excellent job keeping the property clean everyday however I feel bad for him because the next day it's like he has done nothing the day before.

  I have lived in Book View for over 5 years, from a 1B1B to 2B2B. I enjoy the neighborhood with an inner driveway to walk around, and quiet nights when everyone obeys the rules that party ends before 10pm, even on weekends. The overall equipment is all in great condition, with the kitchen fully set up and hot water 24 hours. The maintenance team always comes within the very first minute once I submit a request. I know all of them, and they keep a good manner and are professional when they come to fix the room. The pool is only open during the summer time, not a big one, but it always has a lifeguard during open time, and it is kept clean. Big enough for small children to have some fun. There are issues and concerns about rodents (mainly mice), cockroaches and ants from time to time, especially during wintertime. Pest control is available every Friday. Due to the grasslands, small stream, and trees very close by, it is acceptable, and the maintenance always makes a quick move once they get the call. It's in the center of a Jewish neighborhood, very safe and child-friendly, with several playgrounds within 5 5-minute walk.

  EDIT: Have to change my rating - the walls are so incredibly thin, and some neighbors are very loud. I haven't slept a full night of sleep without having to move from one room to the other to avoid noise from either up, around, down, etc. neighbors since I moved here in January. The community is a nice and staff is nice, but if you want sleep or to be able to hear your own tv over your neighbors’ this place doesn't work. The walls and ceiling are beyond thin. You will hear everything your neighbors say and do, and if you get loud ones on any side of your apt it will be impossible to avoid the noise. I'm very frustrated w/ the noise situation here due to such thin walls.

  Has spacious nice apartments and it's a nice place to live.. It is close to stores and major roads and highways. There are many large storage closets and rooms. One might be able to be a second bedroom.
