    I just don't know about the negative comments, I have been a tenant of TCA for seven years, and I love my rental office (TCA). They always fix any issues in a timely fashion, regardless of day or time. The after hour maintenance crew always replies no matter the day, time, holiday, or situation. Out of the seven years I've been a tenant, I have never had any issues or problems with the staff or maintenance. They have always been honest, respectable, and reliable, no matter of what maintenance work needs to be done, I can always count on the maintenance crew, cleaning and maintaining the area that they are working in, the maintenance crew has always taken all trish with them, my experience with TCA for the past seven years, has always been a plus service. As long as you're honest with TCA Property Management, they will work with you and your family, in and on any situation, thank you, TCA, Property Management.

    TCA is the worst of the worst, all in one place! It is a company which has been operating simultaneously two kinds of business, one as property management and the other one as a general contractor . Since they are conducting two businesses at the same time, I thought I'd be in good hands and they'd take great care of my rental properties, but indeed I was totally wrong. I have had several properties managed by TCA since 2015 and mostly were under rental. TCA would selected any renters and allowed them to rent anywhere between 6 - 10 months did not carefully scan the tenants; This led to breach of rental agreements and unpaid rents of 2 -3 months. In addition, a large balance of unpaid water bills up to $1500. Let alone with above mentioned items, I had to pay out of my pocket more than 10 grand for each renovation when tenants moved out. Moreover, during their leasing period, I had to pay constantly for repairs, including one time almost $400 that was paid just for "toilet fixing", instead of $280 if a new replacement was installed by Lowe's or Home Depot. During the whole time doing business with TCA, I have my own experience which I'd love to share with homeowners out there: In order to get more in house improvement business from property management business, TCA is willing to accept any renters' applications even though the renters do not meet all of the criteria. All TCA's concern was to get tenants moved in immediately without conducting a full evaluation. I was a victim and hopefully this message goes out to all homeowners who are thinking about use TCA for their investments.

    This review is specifically for Holly Circle Townhouses under TCA. I know nothing about the rest of the company. I lived in one of the 1000 sq. ft. townhouses for ~18 months at $900/month (rent has since gone up but not by much). Patrick McGrady the owner was always easy to talk to, as was Debbie at the front desk and the maintenance men I met (several of whom were relatives of Patrick. it's a family business). I could tell that Patrick cared about making Aberdeen a nicer place to live (he's the mayor). Sometimes maintenance requests I put in would fall by the wayside, but this has happened to me at much more expensive apartments too, and if I asked again they were nice about it and came within a few hours. We did not pay anything out of pocket when we had ants, they offered to clean our floors after a sewer leak (another tenant flushed kitty litter!), and they were always happy to take care of other problems. They really bent over backwards for us. It's because of this that I felt I got my money's worth. More rental companies should act like this toward renters. The properties themselves, however, are old and some of them were not well taken care of by previous tenants, but mine did meet my standard of cleanliness after I moved in. I first saw it while the maintenance team was cleaning up from a previous tenant, so when I moved in I could tell how hard they worked to clean it up. But if you are sensitive to noise or a light sleeper, make sure you tell the staff this when you are looking for a place to live, as most of their properties are near the railroad or major roads. We left because of the railroad noise, as I am a light sleeper. If you want a place that's cheap but not the bottom of the barrel, and noise doesn't bother you, I would highly recommend Holly Circle Townhouses.
