I chose this apartment primarily for the location, and that part genuinely delivers. It’s right next to a bus stop and close to the train, so you can get by without a car. Unfortunately, that becomes less of a perk when you realize parking is a complete mess. There are only about 15 parking spots you can park in for free and they’re almost always taken, and if you park anywhere else, your car will be towed without hesitation. Guest parking is essentially nonexistent, so having friends over for more than a short visit is stressful. To make it worse, nearby businesses and their employees routinely take up the limited resident parking, and management does nothing about it. Security is another major issue. Businesses in the building have packages shipped to the residential mailroom, which means random delivery drivers and non-residents are constantly coming in and out. Meanwhile, residents need to press a button just to exit the building. Packages get stolen regularly, and it’s clear access control isn’t taken seriously. Although the complex is advertised as “luxury,” that label doesn’t match reality. Things are frequently broken, and maintenance feels reactive at best. The gym is especially bad: treadmills barely function, the bikes belong in a museum, and overall it’s not usable for anyone who actually wants to work out. The trash chutes are often out of service, leading to piles of garbage in the trash rooms, which smell and are genuinely unpleasant. Cleanliness and accountability are ongoing problems. Dog waste in hallways is not uncommon, fire alarms go off constantly, and nothing seems enforced. Many units smell strongly of weed, which isn’t about judgment—it’s about not wanting the smell in your own apartment. Amenities are also disappointing. There’s no pool, and while there is a community space, residents still have to pay around $300 just to use it for a few hours. Considering the rent, that’s hard to justify. Community events were advertised when I moved in, but none ever happened. I moved out as soon as my lease was up. The location is convenient, but everything else steadily declined, and the “luxury” branding feels misleading at best. The apartment complex next door is a million times better, start there first. The only reason there’s positive reviews is because the property manger pressures residents to write reviews. I found her to be vindictive and wouldn’t trust a word she says. I enjoyed my first few years there, and the first PM would keep a good balance of empty apartments, but they started just letting anyone into the apartments. It truly felt unsafe towards the end.

Love it here at the Anden! Penny made sure the move in process was not only smooth but fun. Anything we need we know Penny or Eric will be able to help and have been so great to us already. The cleanest and most maintained apartment that we saw in our variety of tours. It feels clean, refreshing and homey to be here at the Anden.

I rarely write reviews, but my experience at The Anden has been consistently frustrating. The building looks nice on the surface, but management is where everything falls apart. Nicole, who manages the property, is incredibly unhelpful and dismissive whenever issues come up. Whether it’s maintenance requests, noise complaints, or basic communication, expect to wait — and then be treated like you’re the problem for asking. For the price they charge, you’d think professionalism and respect for tenants would be a given. Unfortunately, that’s not the case here. There are plenty of other options in the area with far better management — I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere before signing a lease at The Anden.
