  Paper thin walls and ceilings. I can hear everything my neighbors do and say upstairs. The floors creak with every step they take. You can hear everything in the hall ways including people (usually running) up and down the stairs. If you like to get a full night's sleep this is not the place for you! They claim there are two parking spots per apartment, but they are not assigned. I been here for 3 months with one vehicle and have yet to find a parking spot less than 100 yds from my front or back door. I do not recommend this place nor will I be renewing my lease. Horrible.

  I have had a wonderful experience here the last couple years. The new manager Karen has been the best to work with and makes home feel more like home. Overall love the community here

  I’ve had a very disappointing experience living at this property. The apartment was not properly prepared before move-in, and many essential issues were ignored despite prior notice and repeated follow-ups. Maintenance requests often take far too long or are marked complete without real resolution. Communication from the office has been inconsistent and dismissive, and it often feels like tenant concerns are not taken seriously. The overall quality and responsiveness do not reflect the rent prices being charged. This review is shared to help future tenants know what to expect and to encourage management to take better responsibility for the condition of the units and for timely, transparent communication with residents.

  This is a terribly unethical company to deal with. They essentially have a predatory towing operation set up with a local towing company. The signs they have in their parking lots warning people that it is permit only are very low and not clearly visible at all. They are posted on short wooden fences no taller than 2 or 3 ft. As a kicker, the sign that says "visitor parking" is as tall as other standard signs and can be seen very clearly as you are driving in. Therefore, if you park anywhere near it, it seems that you are parking in a visitor spot, when there may actually be a short "permit only" sign blocked by a truck or SUV, so you'll still get towed, which they are obviously banking on. Why not post all signs at an equal height? Oh right, because if they did this, they wouldn't receive thousands of dollars of towing fee kickbacks from their partners in this racket. I spoke with the property manager, Shane, and he admitted that they have gotten MANY complaints about this issue and that they need to put up additional signs to make the resident-only parking areas clearer. However, despite already admitting that it is not clear in several areas and that this is obviously a problem, they STILL refuse to reimburse me for the egregious cost of wrongfully towing my car, which was $170+. I even spoke with the regional property manager Elisabeth Capps, who is way down in Florida and unfamiliar with the site, and she just says the signs are clearly identified and that they are not responsible, so they won't do anything to help. Shane, Elisabeth, and this entire company should be ashamed of themselves for willfully screwing people out of their hard-earned money by luring them into certain parking areas and then having their cars towed, even though Shane admits this is a problem. This is an absolutely despicable way to do business and I will be exploring further complaint options including with the Better Business Bureau, etc. I hope everybody else realizes how much of a fraud Ashford Crossing Apartments really is and that no one else bothers to move in until it is under new management.
