The 1 star was a force. Steven's Pond is a portal tp Hell. Let's start with day 1. Being a person with a handicap placard, and disability, I had to get an attorney and lawyer up to get reaaonable accomodations enforced. I got a reserved assigned handicap spot in front of my buidling AFTER getting an attorney. Random people parked there all the time. Forcing me to have to wait until a Tow came and got them out about every week someone parked in spot. According to code any egress leading to outside must have a screen door so attention all doors leading tp your porch without a screen is a violation of code. I requested a screen door. They provided a magnet $10 Home Deppt "insta-screen" and maintenance was laughing as he was installing. Hallways are gross. Smells are inconceivable. Pet owners dont clean agter their pets and you cany pick up dog diarrehea pff grass so most grass has pee spots and the place is too small tp accomodate all those dogs tp be realistic. There are rats and micre and trash is always and issue. Apartment fan was stained and walls are not flush and previpus damage is obvious. The amentities are rittitled with unsupervised children and its lime an afterschool ptogram after school us out, leaving you no room to enjoy anything. Bathrooms are gross at gym. To use the word luxury is an insult. The pool area is gross and people work.ouy dripping in sweat and have no shame to go right in the pool sweaty and gross. I saw thay the few times I went and that was enough to.never want to swim in human sweat who knows what diseases linger in thay pool and hot tub, I still shudder at the memory. I got out in years. I never had an issue with maintenance but I believe that is only because the wholr time I lived there I retained an attorney, but can only imagine if I didnt. Staff is rude and treated you bad until I lawyered up. I had to fight for my security until I had my attorney right a letter than magically I got.it after 4 months. I documented eveything. Some tenants had 10 plus people living with them and the place is overcrowded and run down. You feel like your in a fishbowl pr Sobiet Uniom Russia with windows open for everyone to look in no privacy. Honesty save your time, and I would never live there again evem ot were free.

I will start with the positive. I think the new management is SLIGHTLY better than the last company. The new office manager seems to be much nicer than the last one, although that isn't much of a bar to have to pass. The apartments are a great size and floorpan. There is a lot of space for walking and the trees/hills around are really beautiful! The location is great. Close to Boston, close to shopping, recreation and route 1 is great! I have lived here for more than two years. I was not allowed to see my apartment before moving in, even though I asked multiple times. On the day I moved in my apartment was filthy. The fan had years of dirt and dust built up, the balcony had confetti and trash all over it, there was paint all over the trim and the floor. I had to clean just to move in. My apartment was never fully painted, there were just spots painted over with a completely different finish than the other paint, so you can still see spots everywhere on my walls. There was mold all over the siding and railing of my balcony that I personally had to scrub off. They have never once washed the outside windows or power washed the siding. Our AC is regularly not working and we are told that it is normal to have the AC not be able to cool the apartment, even though it is actually COOLER OUTSIDE than in our apartment. The office acts as though tenants are too dumb to know what should be acceptable for living! The office staff regularly lies and says things are being taken care of, when they haven't even CONTACTED someone to do anything about it. I can handle the slow response of maintenance, but I hate being lied to as though I don't deserve an honest answer or can't handle an actual adult conversation! The buildings themselves are FILTHY!!! Our hallway carpets have NEVER been cleaned since moving in. There are stains everywhere and the hallways smell like urine and mold. The walls and ceiling in the hall leak when it rains. The office IS AWARE and it hasn't been fixed. The walls are paper thin and you can hear everything. I can hear the people next to me when they WALK! People are constantly smoking pot and cigarettes so the property often stinks. How do you close amenities for two months and not provide some sort of break on rent when we are paying for it?!!! And how do you update amenities when the buildings themselves are trash?! lights are out in the walking areas, I have to use my light at night to see when I walk my dog. Overall I think that they are very overpriced for the quality of product they offer, If the rent was lower, I would give them 3 stars, but because of the quality and price, I feel like 2 stars is more than generous!

I was resident for almost 5 years and got put in collections for signing new lease on my last year. Prior to signing last year lease I went into Cardiac Arrest and having a child with special needs and could not live alone for a period of time. I signed my last years lease and did not stay not even a day into lease after given them 4 years of money and was not given any consideration after having personal issues. I called and spoke to management and also sent a email saying I was leaving due to my circumstances. Again,I didn’t owe any money I was up front with them saying I was leaving before new lease and they still stuck it to me for 10000. For signing a lease. I was in complete DISTRESS while signing having no place to live and having MAJOR health issues and child with special needs. They also have my 1500 security. I left the apartment in great condition. My experience was ok. I had a huge rodent problem MICE & attempted break in the apartment. I also had Major water main break above me and many water tank issues that were fixed after many calls. The water main break destroyed my bedroom furniture mattress etc. Beware

Received an email this morning that all amenities will be closed for construction including the gym for TWO MONTHS!!!!! For the amenities I pay for. So now I have to go get a gym membership on top of this overpriced rent. What’s also ridiculous is these people remodeling the leasing office but the buildings still look like crap. Front doors to all buildings are terrible condition. How is it that the leasing office is getting a remodel before people’s actual homes. Cannot wait to get out of here. When you tour this place pay attention to the hallways outside of the apartments, they are disgusting and dirty. Pay attention how they paint over things when people are moving in instead of fixing it! There are marks on the wall where I live that instead of patching it they painted over it. Charging ridiculous amounts for a one bedroom as if they were luxury, I sincerely regret this. It looks nice from the outside but you don’t realize what it really is until you move in.
