THEY OVERCHARGED ME WHEN I MOVED OUT! It started when they raised the rent by $500 and told me last minute as my lease was up for renewal giving me ONE month to move. Unfortunately I wasn't aware of my tenant rights at that time and because of this, I thought I had to move last minute. I had to use that rent for that last month and apply it to my new place first months and deposit. I understood that there was going to be a balance for Oasis. Out of good faith I got situated with my finances and was ready to pay that balance off. When I went to do so, I noticed there were extra charges other than the rent owed. There were also charges for the usual wear and tear after being in a apartment for a few years. Cleaning and having to patch up the walls and repaint when a tenant has been living at a place for a while is pretty standard and tenants are not usually charged for this however , Oasis are charging me for every appliance in that apartment as "damaged". The electric stove has scratches from wear and tear from moving pans and pots from one burner to another it also has some burn stains. Now I'm disputing them against these "damaged appliance" claims. How does one live in an apartment where the stove is "damaged", the refrigerator is "broken", the dishwasher and dryer and washing machine are also "damaged"? Don't let a few good reviews fool you. This property is not managed well they raise rent yearly at an extremely high rate and then when you move out you're going to be charged for things other than normal wear and tear. Be cautious.

I lived here for 3 years, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The leasing office, which includes staff who live on-site, tried to evict me based on false accusations. My son’s father was constantly harassed just for spending time at the apartment with our newborn—they even made him prove he lived elsewhere. One of the worst experiences was when my packages were taken from the parcel locker by office staff who claimed they delivered them—but I never got them, and management refused to refund or resolve it. The project manager was rude and basically told me to “just let it go.” To make things worse, a maintenance worker who stop working there shortly after I moved ended up finding me on social media and tried to pursue me in a creepy, inappropriate way. Completely unprofessional and unsafe. If the staff doesn’t like you, they’ll make your life miserable and look for any reason to push you out. Between the harassment, discrimination, this place is a nightmare. They also beg residents for reviews and even offer them giveaway gif cards for good reviews. Think twice before moving in I moved a year ago and haven’t had no complaints or any issues and I couldn’t be any happier with my new place!

We have been residents of The Oasis at Plainville since before the buildings and grounds were fully completed. It has been an enriching experience in many ways. The Management Team has been nothing short of stellar on all levels. The Maintenance Team goes above and beyond to make the grounds pristine and our apt homes in tip-top shape. When the Pandemic was in full swing, much of our amenities were halted due to safety protocols; however, other accommodations were made to make our comfort level seamless. Many thanks for special surprises and never forgetting we all were in this together. We cannot speak enough on how professional, thorough, yet so very personable folks are here. This year, the pool has been accessible. All protocols in place there and within the Community. Health and safety is of prime concern here. Alerts are sent to residents via text and email when there is a matter requiring our attention. If ever there is a concern, call the office. They hear and they listen, then act. We are grateful to be a part of this Community. Last week we had a Summer Gala with a Flamingo themed get-together at the outside patio and poolside. It was refreshing to spend time getting to together after such a long lapse from the Pandemic. The affair was catered and we were pampered with the hardworking gals on the team who brought along their smiles. They make time to know their residents. A face-painting artist graced the evening and did her magic on faces young and old. Pictures could be taken with the themed backdrop to capture the memories and music was in the background. Well-done, to the Oasis Teams and all the hands that work behind the scenes each and every day! Shine on, Oasis at Plainville. You represent such an idyllic model in this gem of a town. Come by and come in for a tour! Be prepared to feel the warmth and comfort of an all-around amazing place. You will be glad you did✨

I wish I had read more reviews before moving in. DO NOT RENT HERE. I’m currently 6 months pregnant and we are living in a unsafe situation. It seems as though many people have experienced something similar. They call it luxury living but it seems like they don’t run background checks on people. They continue to not follow Covid protocols. I’ve expressed how extremely unsafe I feel and with me being pregnant the entire situation has become so stressful. This is not what we signed up for when we signed our lease. The leasing manager has basically said our only option is to continue emailing complaints until our lease is up. They have not offered to help us at all. I have even reached out to other properties and talked to their property managers and they have even expressed how disappointing it is to hear a property treating their residents like this. This is not luxury living and there are other great apartments very close by. Feel free to message me if you would like more details on this all. All I can say is this is extremely disappointing a property cares more about money then the well-being and safety of their residents.

Really beautiful clubhouse and property but the staff is very rude and their location does NOT follow ADA guidelines for those who have a disability. When we tried to find out our options the manager refused to call us back and at one point another woman said she was in the restroom just to avoid speaking with us about a reasonable accommodation. The only request that we had was for them to take out air fresheners from the amenity areas so that I could workout. With my illness I HAVE to workout every day or at least 5 days a week. I have a condition that makes me deathly allergic to any and all artificial scents, so much so that the doctors thought I had a brain tumor. Our apartment complex now removed them after consulting with their lawyers and realizing that it's just an added cost that they didn't need. You'd think that it wouldn't be necessary for them pump toxic air fresheners into the gym, but their response was "other residents would not be able to fully enjoy the gym" and that it would cause them financial hardship and too much manpower. Taking air fresheners out to prevent me from going to the hospital would actually save them money and unless their maintenance team has chicken arms it takes barely any man power to simply remove the canister in the wall units. Very disappointed by the poor treatment of Oasis at Plainville and their refusal to meet ADA guidelines which by law they are supposed to accommodate.
