I’ve lived in this building before, I left to move out of state. The leasing process was easy, the agent, Caroline, was lovely to deal with and quick to respond to the many emails I sent her. I’m glad to be back at Chapman house, it’s a walkable apartment, dog friendly, the neighbors have been lovely to deal with. Overall I’m loving my new home.

I personally wanted to come online to do a rating for the champman house due to my personal experience. After looking for an apartment for nearly almost 6 months and being at a point where I was just over it. I ran into a posting for an available apartment in the Chapman house I remember feeling discovered and nervous not because of them by all means but because of the experiences that I had been going through for the last few months of getting my hopes up high. As I begin to complete the application I then received a message from Caroline of approval that was one of the greatest feelings I must say that I experience in a very long time. As I've been living in the Chapman house I have no complaints at all I don't have to worry about hang my neighbors right underneath me or over me because the walls aren't very thin. Communication is easy going with the management company whenever I need something fixed or have a problem it is easy to get in touch with them versus my prior experiences with other landlords. It feels like an actual home for me and my three girls So if you are thinking about renting a place and making a place a home for you and your family you should definitely consider the Chapman House I would vouch personally myself as it should be one of the best places that I have lived at thus far. Thank you to Caroline she is truly amazing!

Have only just moved in and been here for a week, but the leasing process and move in process were very smooth. Clean and well-kept grounds. Caroline in the leasing office was a pleasure to work with and Tony in maintenance has been very prompt and helpful.

We moved here recently from New Bedford/ Fall River area. This was one of the best decisions that I made for us. I love it here. The rental process and my interactions with the leasing office were great. They were so patient and helped me work through all the issues that I was having with getting the move in order. I appreciate Ms. Caroline Lee who continues to check in with me to see how my son and I are adjusting. Offering us her support and any help we may need. She is very kind, friendly and pleasant. I'm grateful to her for making the process so easy and being so helpful to us. The maintenance man is also very helpful and pleasant. He is attentive to the tenants needs and responds right away if or when you have an issue. Beacon communities is lucky to have them. They are a great reflection on and of your company!! My apartment is spacious and clean. I love the large windows and that there is ample closet space.. which I truly appreciate. The kitchen has a lot of cabinets and drawers and is equipped with convenience appliances such as a garbage disposal and dishwasher. I haven't seen any bugs or rodents which is fantastic because a lot of times in a building this size with so many different tenants you will have a rodent problem, bug problem or sometimes both. The building is quiet and well kept. There is an elevator and we have access to a laundry room. The neighbors that I have met so far are nice and friendly. They have a cleaning crew that does a great job maintaining the common areas. The neighborhood itself is great as well. I'm in the heart of East Boston. We are close to everything. There is an elementary school at the bottom of our street. There's plenty of shopping, pharmacies, banking and a variety of restaurants all within walking distance. To travel into Boston or the surrounding cities and communities there's no need for a car because the bus runs at the bottom of the street and the blue line train is about 10 or 15 minute walk from here but if you do own a vehicle there is ample street parking as well as an attached garage for tenants. Lastly, I love that we can have pets here!! I was excited to know that our pet family members would be accepted and welcomed here Im so glad and grateful that my son didn't have to get rid of his cat and I can get a dog. I hope that this review is helpful to anyone looking to move to this area. In my opinion Chapman House is a great place to live.
