I’ve lived here for about two years and was considering renewing/continuing my lease when this happened. The apartment itself is fine, but my experience with Matt DeNino during the leasing process was unacceptable.
He repeatedly contacted me via his personal phone number and sent multiple messages that felt pressuring and accusatory while I was trying to clarify a misunderstanding about a promotion and decide whether to proceed. Even after I communicated clearly and canceled before signing anything, the tone escalated and I felt pushed rather than supported.
This left me feeling intimidated and anxious during my remaining time living here, including concern about potential retaliation.
If you choose to live here, get every term in writing and be prepared to escalate to management if communication becomes unprofessional. (I have screenshots of the messages if needed.)

A fantastic living experience!
Convenient Location - Located a 4-5 min walk from the Commuter Rail and right next to the 66 & 57 buses, I've found it incredibly easy to get around. Within a 10 min radius (by walk) are so many great restaurants and conveniences (CVS, Stop & Shop, etc.). Very easy to get to the airport as it's right next to the highway. Despite being a bit further out, I've never felt very far from the city.
Neighborhood & Noise - It's not a super busy area but it's not a totally dead one either. There is ample activity around so it doesn't feel like a ghost down but largely quiets down by the night. Neighbors in the building are kind and respectful. I've never once had to file a noise complaint. Sound travels through from the floor above but that's expected in apartment buildings and is pretty non-disruptive. On the flipside, I've hosted my fair share of gatherings at reasonable noise levels and the neighboring tenants have never complained or knocked, and vice versa, so the vibe is overall pretty tolerant if you're someone who likes to host!
Amenities - There is lots of seating and workspace on the ground and top floors and work pods on all the others. I see people working/study there all the time. The rooftop area is gorgeous and great to rent out for gatherings (if you keep the noise at a reasonable level). I don't have a pet myself but from what I gather its a very pet friendly building! The building is also quite snazzy with some interesting art in the common areas and a pretty modern aesthetic. During the holidays, there a giftwrapping station in the lobby!
Management & Maintenance - The property manager, Matt, is a pleasure and quite responsive to any questions! The building is pretty diligent about maintenance and quite on top of correspondence regarding things like inspections, fire alarm work, cleanings, etc.

My partner and I chose Arthaus when we first moved to Boston because of the location and how amazing the amenities are. You are close to bus routes such as the 66, 64, etc, as well as the commuter rail. Our unit has high ceilings, modern appliances, and plenty of natural sunlight! There's a package room, gym, free coffee, events, and plenty of common space areas. From time-to-time, they host nice events for the Arthaus community.
In addition to these perks, the staff is very responsive. If you ever any maintenance issues, want to host events in the common spaces, or have any questions in general, they're extremely supportive.
Highly recommend!
I'd leave a higher review if I could. Amazing and friendly management in addition to super quick and responsive maintenance. Management also does lots of small but impactful things for the rest of the apartment community and greater Allston too. Move in and move out were both a breeze.

The leasing office was easy to schedule with and the building has a really cool art theme. They even have a gallery going into the first floor operated by a local nonprofit. Loved the multiple roof decks, coffee station in the lobby, and work from home spaces spread throughout the building.
