  I was extremely disappointed with my stay at evergreen. I stayed from may til October and my AC went out for four months. Communication with management was extremely difficult as we had to reach out numerous times to figure out what was going on with our ac and there was so many different things being told to us as to what was wrong with it and when it would be fixed.

  Don’t waste your money or time - not worth it. Hundreds of dollars worth of extra charges on your account every month; charges that the rude office manager refuses to explain, loud college kids puking off the balcony onto our front porch … And management did nothing. We paid out the nose to break the lease after only 8 months. Terrible place to live.

  I wish I could give this place zero stars. Let’s start with the biggest issue: mold. It’s painted over instead of properly treated, so it always comes back. When you complain, their “fix” is to just paint over it again. My apartment also constantly smelled like smoke. Despite repeated complaints, nothing was ever done. Eventually, I decided to move out, but management told me I had to pay three months’ rent for breaking my 12-month lease. In my opinion, they breached the contract first by failing to provide a safe, livable environment. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to fight it in court. Other issues included: • Bugs everywhere – pest control was supposedly sent, but I was home both times they claimed to come, and no one ever showed up. • AC units that don’t work properly – likely contributing to the mold problem. • Hidden fees – what you end up paying is much higher than advertised. The maintenance staff are polite, but clearly overwhelmed. Nothing ever gets fixed properly because there are just too many ongoing issues. I’m relieved to be out of there, and I strongly warn anyone considering moving in. Do yourself a favor and look at other options — for example, the Oasis costs about the same once you factor in all the hidden charges here, and you’ll have a far better living experience.

  DONT MOVE HERE. i am a current resident living here in the summer time and our A/C being set to 67 the air is blowing at 90 degrees. have been calling for maintenance and nobody has come or even checked in or left a note, absolutely nothing. there are hidden fees every month that don’t state where they are coming from. looks to be BLACK MOLD growth in every single vent in the apartment, we made it known to Garrett and he is claiming that it is just mildew without even coming out to look at it. Our move in date kept being pushed back do to a “cleaning” but the first day when we were walking throughout the house with the maintenance supervisor and everything was dirty and needed a very good wipe down and vacuum, the screen door had broken as i was opening it to go onto the balcony and had still not been replaced like promised, a lot of the outlets on the right side of the house do not work and our sink in our second bathroom didn’t work we had to fix it ourselves.
