- JDJosh DupuisOct 22, 20255.0I have only been a resident here for a few months and the one thing that stands out the most is the property management on site. Especially Crue Simon!! I can’t not say what a blessing she is. Always has such a great attitude and professionalism about her. Any time I see her or call the front office I am treated with the upmost respect and compassion. 5 Stars all because of Crue Simon!!
- MDmichael dekeyzerOct 15, 20251.0This place is terrible from management to maintenance. Nicole is the worst manager I’ve ever seen. Moved in had mold in my apartment put in a maintenance request after 2 or 3 more maintenance request and a month later they finally came, they told me if I had another place to stay I should stay there because there gonna have to put chemicals all in the house. Didn’t offer to put me in another unit or pay for a hotel. A month later the mold is back this time they rip up carpet and take some wall out they said they finished I moved out got another apartment paid 2 rents come back carpet is still gone and wall isn’t repaired. Nicole is rude and has no care. Went above her then she wants to act nice for a week. Glenda is the only good thing about Lafayette gardens. Wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone!
- AAAnonymousOct 4, 20251.0Not sure why they refer to this complex as "luxury living." There is nothing luxurious about living in these apartments. The gates are often broken. If it rains hard you have to wade through water in the parking lot to pull your car up onto the curb to save it. When you move in, the apartment is so say "clean," but you walk into a unit with vents that are caked with what seems like years of dust and the blinds are so cheap that they snap in half if you simply try to look out of them. Sleep? Forget it! You can hear literally everything that your neighbors are doing. The maintenance guys are great; however, you will wait a long time for them to get to your unit. Management is awful! Would strongly advise against moving here!!!!
- JBJackie BourgeoisJul 31, 20255.0I'm truly shocked this complex isn't rated higher! I inquired here based on the (good) reviews and rented because of my interactions with the office staff. I've been here 3 months now and don't regret my decision one bit. I work from home and am here nearly all day, every day. It feels very much like a neighborhood: it's quiet most of the time, but on hot hot days you can hear kids having fun at the pool. Neighbors are pleasant and many have been here for years, you often see people grilling by the picnic table or playing basketball, etc. There's several dog runs throughout the complex as well and a walking path that goes around the entire property. Yes, the parking lot does flood when there is a heavy rain, but it's contained to certain spots and I've never had trouble getting thru it. (Also, the property is basically in a flood plain so it's impressive there isn't a bigger problem with it, to be honest). That being said, the few times I've needed something from the office or maintenance, my request has been handled quickly. Ms Glenda and Crue are amazing and remembered my name almost immediately. Finally, the location can't be beat and it rarely takes me more than a few minutes to get where I need to be. Absolutely recommend!
